So if someone you know well calls and asks you to pick up a lucky dip on the lotto for them(its nearly half 7 and they are not near a shop)...and you pick one up for yourself aswell....when you get home the one you bought for them wins - do you tell them and hand over the ticket...or pretend that was your one and claim the cash for yourself??

Personally I think I would have to tell them (if I know them very well that is) coz i'd feel so guilty and maybe they will reward me anyway coz im the one who bought it.

Moral dilemma or done deal??

I told the 26 yr old this morning that our relationship was not getting any better and that i was moving out,he is now calling me every few mins. and even left work because he couldnt stand me leaving him. I care about him but his mental status i can no longer harder. I dont want to get the law involved because it would just cause more problems. What can i do to make him understand that i dont want him anymore,hes trying to get me to leave my stuff at the house and give him a time limit when im coming back. I cant promise nothing right now,he has done some terrible things to me mentally that it will take along time to get over if i ever do. HELP im going crazy. My mother is a very touchy person. You cannot say sth negative to her or say she is wrong etc. When you do so, she punishes you. Her face and words and attitude becomes different suddenly. She makes me very tired emotionally. At home I dont wanna be in bad relations with someone so I tolerate and tolerate, but I am just tired of this. She takes away my energy.

And I question the meaning of love, if someone who says she likes you or loves you that much can do sth like that, punishes you some way rightaway acting immature or indifferent, what can we expect from other people who are totally strangers. Even our boyfriends or girlfriends are strangers. Not from the family. Am I wrong?

Is it not the same thing? A lack of self control. We do not baby alcoholics. We treat them like they have personal issues that they need to work on. Which is the way they should be treated. Now if you are so fat you can not walk from your car to the store then we let you park right in front of the store in the handicap spaces. Then we give you an electric cart to ride around in while you are in the store. We have to accommodate fat people or it is discrimination of some sort. We can not even call them fat because of political correctness. “They may have issues that they can not help”. They do have issues the same as alcoholics. Alcoholics can not keep liquor out of their mouth and fat people can not keep Twinkies out of theirs. Should we as a society not be tougher on fat people?

1) my cousin is gay. I found out when I was at a gay bar dancing one night with friends. I'm the only one that knows and totally accept it. My family is very old fashioned but he still wants to bring his bf along. I told him xmas probably isn't the best time to come out of the closet but if he wants to, i'd be there to support him if things get rough. Should I dicourage him from comming out and just say his friend is spending xmas alone and that's why he came along? I don't want him to get hurt. I can see someone saying, "you ruined christmas."

2) my family is obsessed with education and always comes down on me for not going to university like my brothers and cousins. I plan to go to school one day but i enjoy spending my time moving around to different places, painting, and working in hotels. I just don't want to hear for the millionth time, "look at your cousin Sue....blah, blah, blah."

Any advice on either or both situations would be great guys.

I'm 16 and i have no guy friends AT ALL most probably because i don't go to church ( don't ask me to go) and I am studying in an all-girls school.
