Hey Hon. Do not worry, go with your feelings, it's OK to take time and clear your head, if he does not understand this then it's his problem not yours. Also, it's all in how you say it, right? Be gentle about it, Don't make it a personal war, Tell him that you are going through some issues with your family/close friend and need to be there for them, sometimes its' best to spare your man the whole truth, till you figure things out for yourself,
Good luck

yes I agree with everyone else everyone needs that alone time. It help when you can have it for me it makes it easier to deal with life & etc, I'm a single mom trying to raise a 13 year old & a 10 year & thats stressful enough plus I have a full time job also so I enjoy that time alone just to do whatever I want to. Im sure your boyfriend understand it & I'm also sure he like the alone time also, it's not a truning point in no means it away you can enjoy time away from each other than when you two are together you appericate each other more I think & believe. I know that if I was in relationship I would have to have some alone time because everyone needs it once in awhile.

This is a busy time of the year, everyone is doing extra & feeling the pressure. Take some down time.
Put your head phone on hit the track
or soak in the tub.Better yet go to Starbucks & then hit the spa...I meet you there !!

I understand you, just hope that he will when you ask him for "me" time. If he loves you as much as you love him, there should not be a problem. He will wait for you. Best wishes.

No its not...everyone needs thier own time... especially if you are into a very stressful job and have issues to deal with
But how long does your "me" time last? is it days or months? than yes your relationship is not working

Everyone needs time to themselves, no need to feel bad about it.
Give it a break and then you two will get along better because of it.
