My hobbies are knitting, reading, gardening, and Netflix!
Knitting is fun and free to learn at www.lionbrand.com The new fashion yarns out there are VERY COOL. And you can knit gifts for all your friends and family. I took it up two years ago and love it.

Depends on what your own interests are there are a lot of great hobbies that you could take up...
1.) Volunteering (it's not so much a hobby but it is something constructive to do with your free time that enriches you and helps others).
2.) Yoga (I used to take yoga and really enjoyed it, I noticed that I was more relaxed and calm when I practiced and also became more flexible and had better balance and strength.)
3.) Martial Arts (it teaches you self-defense, discipline, and respect as well as gives you a bit of a work out and instills pride, confidence, etc.)
4.) Learning an instrument. ( I always personally wanted to learn the guitar because I like to write and want to apply my writing to music but it can be a great way no matter what to express yourself especially if you like music.)
5.) Dance Lessons (There are all different types of dancing to meet people's individual likes and needs and also keeps you active while you learn a new skill.)
6.) Joining a book club. ( You will not only be able to read different types of literature and expand your appreciation and perspective on the world and possibly make some good friends.)
7.) Sports. (A great way to keep active, make new friends and have fun.Skiing, soccer, baseball, snowboarding, skateboarding, hockey, football, etc.)
8.) Flying. ( I work at a local airport and we have people of all ages learning how to fly small single engine planes and gliders.)
9.) Arts and/or Crafts ( You could take a drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, sewing, quilting or other type of art class).
10.) Hiking (This is one of my personal favorites)
11.) Astronomy ( I just took a course last semester dealing with astronomy and I must say there is nothing like it).
12.)Gardening? (Just a thought...lol...)
Hope this helped you out a little...Good luck and take care :)

Hobby Ideas:
1. Volunteering - Get involved with a cause like the Boys and Girl Club or the Red Cross or some other charity
2. Exercising - Most of us don't exercise like we should and finding an exercise you enjoy and that you could consider a hobby can result in more fun, less boredom, and increased health

Golf. Drawing. Writing. Collecting - stamps, coins, comic books, autographs, etc... Knitting, cooking, cross-stitch.
Do you want a hobby for one person or do you want a group hobby? Paintball, local theater, or marathon running.
The number of hobbies are limitless.
I would suggest thinking about why you want a hobby (stress reduction, boredom, learning) and then choose one that suits your need.

Take up gardening! Even if you just have an herb garden in a container it's a great way to start. Gardening relieves stress, and you get pride in growing things.
I have a large garden, so it is also my primary source of physical activitiy. I also have many flowers so I can make boquets for friends and relatives as gifts.

Well, are you more of an indoor or outdoor kind of person? If it's outdoor, then I would suggest rock climbing. Even if you don't live somewhere where you can just go outside and do this there are always places you can go to do it. It's a lot of fun and GREAT exercise.

I personally love to read. I read books from a wonderful author. I also like to play games like Sims 2 and other games. It depends on what interests you. My husband likes to play Halo 2 and a lot of console games. We both like to play War craft III but it all depends on what you like to do as far as what makes you happy and what hobbies interests you.
