What did you get and give for Christmas?
I gave my boyfriend a clipper set.
I gave my mom a car.
I gave my grndmatoher happiness (money she can spend).
I gave my brother freedom (he was in jail for driving w/suspended license).
I gave my daughter educational toys:
Barbie computer
Leap Pad books (4 of them)
Barbie doll (changes facial expressions)
InteracTV DVD game ( DVD game can be played on the TV).

All I got was a foot massage... for working all those dayum hours of overtime! But I love giving what's wanted for the holidays.

My neighbor (+ good friend) is engaged to and Loves a guy who is about 25 years older than her + he comes originally from Mexico.

He has several adult kids from his marriage (he's a widower for about 10 years) and last week he and my friend were making luuuv in his bedroom and having fun when 2 of his adult daughters and 1 of his adult sons walked in on them!

They had let themselves in!! with a key!! to drop off Christmas poinsettas and stuff and opened the closed door and walked into the bedroom!!!

He put on his pants and shirt and went after his kids to talk with them and he has hardly said 2 words to my neighbor since. She's so embarrassed she doesn't want to face his kids.

Should she go to their traditional family Christmas meal or stay away? I told her she should go because she's going to be his new wife in a couple of months, despite the lack of privacy in his house.

I live about 15 miles away from my g/f. I do not drive nor does she.
Lately she has been stressed out. In January I believe her father is going to jail. He is an alcoholic. She wants to spend time with him before he goes and all he does is drink. I understand how hard this can be. There are also a couple of other family problems going on. My fone has been shut off and the only way I can call her is with my moms fone. I may not see her (my mom) everyday so I cannot call my g/f everyday. she hates not knowing if and when I will call her. So Do I! She has been crying herself to sleep the past couple of nites...so have I... She said she does not want to hurt me and she hasnt. I want to stay with her. I care deeply for her. I do not think this is a reason to split and at christmas at that. What do I do to tell her this? It is just a rough time in her life that I have nothing to do with and she wants to split.

And what can I do to show that I truly would not be happy without her?

I think alot about everything, ideas, religion, politics, I hold no beliefs and hardly any opinions, I base what I think on facts and what makes sense to me, I do, however, have emotions but never, well hardly ever, express them, at least not like other people. Because of this it makes it really hard for me to relate to other people and I have difficulty taking an interest in most people. Let me explain better, people, and i generalize, take interest in what celebrities do, what other people say and do, what happened to them today, and trivial things such as these. I don't know how else to say it but I really don't care about these things. It would be painful for me to try and have a conversation about me going to school and driving to work or what my friends did and stuff like that for more than about 2 seconds. Don't get me wrong, I love to do fun stuff, play sports, and go to clubs, but I guess i just have trouble with making small talk and connecting with people. Advice please

My lad & i hav been 2gether 8yrs, 4 a while now hes been doin things which u shouldnt in a relationship.He crashed my brandnew car my mam got me(weve never had a new car b4) & becoz my mam payed 4 it it was difrent respect 4 car rules.Ive had others wot he damaged(&1s of his own).He takes drowsy substances sumtimes , more than he should, ends up in trouble doin sumthin stupid.I worry about his health,he has got an illness & i wonder if hes had bad news 2 set`him off,Hes only 31 & has had health probs from wen i met him,some hav got better,others hav appeared/got worse,Sum r gone.He moved out at my request,I'd like 2 get back 2gether if he could calm down, talk about wots goin on in his head so he can get help.Do u think seperation will help put things in perspective,make him think bout us or wil it make him worse.I really dont know wot 2 do this time 4 the best.Weve always lived 2gether.I worry i'l make him worse,he'l go on self distruct & we'l lose him 4 good-Any advice.I love him

Do u believe in ghost spirit? Well I didn't until I went my friend house. My friend & his roomates rented a 3bed house, the reason they rent this house cuz it's cheap (only $1000/mo)& in perfect condition compare to a current economy in CA. They've been informed by landlord dat the house had a murder crime record in the past decades & 3 peo were brutally murdered in dis house; dis probably the reason dat it's been vacanted for a long time. The landlord was about to demolish dis house until they moved in. He told dat his room mates were scared & 1 of them have moved. They told me dat they hear a massive voice of a woman crying @ midnight & a lurking shaddow fly acrossing the hallway& a rattling noice in the kitchen. At 1st, I didn't believe him, den I crashed at his place 1 night. Now, if da stove or a candle goes off by itself, u probably blame the wind, but not vice versa. I saw from my own eyes dat ceiling fan turns on by itself & a transparent white shadow of a woman appear.

for me it was mmmmmmmmm , my family was happy coz my sis got married and my brother graduated from medicine school .I was able to travel 4 times ....
the worse things that i lost hope of achieving any of my dreams..I lost my best friend and i am one year older with no promosing future emotionally or socailly !

I've always wondered about the dynamics behind such relationships. It's easy to say the victims are just stupid, but so many smart people get caught up in them as well that there must be some other answer. Please no speculation if you've never been in such a situation before; I really think this is one area you have to endure to truly understand.

As a Christian, I know today (Christmas) is not about materialism. Part of me is thinking about those who are cold, hungry, lonely, sick, and/or suffering, which makes what I'm upset about look pretty lame.
Here goes: As I was hanging stockings, my husband told me that he didn't "have anything for yours" which he then qualified by saying that he had something (implying one thing) but couldn't find it. I was really bummed; tried not to show it. Over the years (married almost 24 years) I've gotten in the habit of putting some of the candy I put in others' stockings in my own, & I slipped a few little treats in there. Usually I start filling the stockings & then he adds to them. Maybe I've been enabling him by slipping in a few treats for me, so it doesn't matter if he only adds a few things? Or he thinks since the kids are older it doesn't matter much? I'm upset w/me for being upset, if that makes sense. I know it's NOT about getting; it's about Jesus, so I shouldn't be hurt.

my neighbor is an officer's wife. she thinks she can get away with telling my household they are being to loud, when never have we had a complaint before and i have lived here for 20 years...shes lived her for only a month. she always comes over telling us that our tv is to loud when we are watching a movie or a football game, also we dont "have to be quiet" until 11 PM....any advise on waht to do or tell her or get back????
