my neighbor is an officer's wife. she thinks she can get away with telling my household they are being to loud, when never have we had a complaint before and i have lived here for 20 years...shes lived her for only a month. she always comes over telling us that our tv is to loud when we are watching a movie or a football game, also we dont "have to be quiet" until 11 PM....any advise on waht to do or tell her or get back????

she has a problem with us playing "loud" movies/football games yet at the same time her kids are screaming ....and normally this is like at 4pm in the afternoon

since you have lived there for 20 years..i assume that you own your home?
if that is the case..she has no right!
if it is an apartment...contact the leasing office about it

I would ignore her. Don't answer the door or phone when she tries to contact you.
