Babysitting is still number one on the hit parade. Take a Red Cross babysitting class, get certified and then let every parent you know that has small kids that you are certified.

Some states allow a 15 yo to obtain a work permit and with that you can be employed at some fast food restaurants like Pizza Hut or a day care center (with certification above).

Other than that it is helping someone clean their house, garage, do household errands for seniors or other families where both husband and wife work, that is, odd jobs. In summer lawn work and landscaping, in winter, shoveling snow, raking leaves, etc.

Hope that helps.

Good for you! It feels great to make your own money. 15 is old enough to work in a retail store or mall, which is especially good if you work at a place you like to shop in, and can use your employee discount. You can also be more entrepreneurial and start your own business. You can cut lawns or clear snow from driveways (you'll also be in great shape), you can walk the neighborhood dogs, take care of children, clean gutters and windows. If you're good with computers, you can troubleshoot people's computer problems for them. There's plenty you can do. :)

I live in Minnesota and there was a dry cleaners that let you work at 14. Just check around and the grocery stores or other smaller shops.

If you have time to work part time, then you can apply for jobs. Talk to people and see if they need help with baby sitting, house cleaning, clerical/filing papers, or any other kind of work you think you could do.

bussing that leads to waitressing, better than any minimum wage job. Landscaping, painting, selling arts and crafts, newspaper routes, retail positions, etc. Stay away from cleaning and fast food.
