Yea, Mine is most of the time.... Even tho he is my best friend, sometimes he knows exactly what to do or say to get on my last nerve, and I dont think best friends do that. But most of the time, I would DEF consider him my best friend. Hope I help!

No question, my wife is absolutely my best friend, and we've been married for 22 years.
In answer to the second bit -- no. It's not "a best friend you want to sleep with", it's the best friend that you also love unconditionally.
Sex might seem important but it isn't, it's just sugar frosting.

YES and it's totally awesome. we hang out like buds and drink and curse like sailors, but we're also VERY endearing to each other and he knows exactly how I feel about things or if he doesn't, he makes an effort to know and listen to all my problems. We want the same things out of life, and are happy with our own spaces. He's even picked my nose for me! EEEWWW!
On the boyfriend side, he thinks I'm too beautiful to be with him and will leave him someday for someone better even though he's perfect for me! I LOVE HIM!

My fiance definately is but it took us a long time to find this out. We split up for a whole year before we realised that we were good together. We are now able to talk to each other better and share things more and this makes us closer and enjoy each others company more.

Only a woman would ask this highly emotional question.
Men do not have woman best friends, unless it is their partner, our natural urge to populate the world with our offspring makes this too difficult.
Tell 'people' to mind their own f*c*ing business.

no, partner is someone you love and can have sex with. best friend is someone that you can love and respect without sex. For guy: say you are playing basketball and winning the game is something that you and your teammate want. Would you choose your partner to be in the team or not? Or would you pass the ball to her when she can't shoot vs a guy friend that can make the score and win.
See it is a feeling of want. We are have our needs and want that our partner can give and cannot give. That is why we have a lot of best friends around to talk and do thinks with.

Yes, he is. I can't imagine being with someone and not have that type of relationship with them. We have been together since we were teenagers and we have so much fun together (most of the time). He makes me want to be a better person.

My fiance is certainly me best friend also. I share everything with her and she knows things about me that not even my closest male buddies know. And I am aware of some things of hers that she would not share with others. We do just about everything as a team and are proud to claim that each of us is the others best bud.

My husband is absolutely my best friend. Some people's significant others ARE and some aren't. It just depends on how deep and loving the relationship is.
