For most people, it is easier to believe the bad/negative things in life. And to some extent, it's human nature. We can all learn to deal with it better with age and experience - hopefully.

a more confident person would shrug it off !
but a person who has already suffered from abuse and is insecure will suffer the put downs more severely.

They are "externally motivated" rather than "internally motivated"..
They may (or may not) have low self esteem.
Some people think they are related.. they are not..
Nobody likes everybody... therefore, not everybody will like you.. period.

because it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy in side.i hate when people do it.their just jerks but they think their all kool and stuff.
