Hi guys, this Christmas I'm on a tight budget. I'm wondering if you have any ideas of a cheap but great gift? I don't know if this will help but I am teen so the gift doesn't have to be o so out there!!! I have to shop for 2 little girls, and 18 yr. old brother, and 3 adults aged from 30-45.

FOR THE 3 ADULTS, SOME IDEAS WOULD BE:
1. Scented candles (you can get 3 different scented candles and put them in a nice gift bag) go to the dollar store and this gift can be under $7
2. If any of the adults are males who fish, you can get a tackle box and put some lures and hooks in there (total=$20-$30)
3. Seasonal Fruits - Go to your local market and buy some nice fruits that are in season and then go to the dollar store and get a nice basket or a Christmas Tin and nicely arrange the fruit -- Great gift for under $10
4. Christmas Dishes -- You can get a set of nice Christmas dishes at Target or Wal Mart for under $35
GIFT IDEAS FOT YOUR 18 YR OLD BROTHER
1. A Frame - Get a frame at any retailer -- you can find a nice one for under $10 and then put a picture of you and your brother together when you were young in the frame
2. 18 year olds love to watch movies and video games -- check out a gift card from Blockbuster
3. If he is 18 and in college in a dorm or out in his own part, try making him a bachelor kit -- we did this for a friend of mine when he moved out and it went over well......get a large basket and fill it with all of the stuff he is going to use when he is on his own without his mom to take care of him -- paper plates, paper towels, cleaners, a few cans of sodas, a few cans of chef boyrdee ravioli ---this is very cheap to do and it is a funny gift that usually causes some great laughter between the two fo you and it will all be stuff he needs and will use
GIFT IDEAS FOR THE LITTLE GIRLS
1. Why don't you go to a retailer or dollar store and buy them a stocking and then stuff it with a chirstmas ornament and a bby doll (you can get both items at a dollar store for $3-$5)
2. Little girls love to dress up usually -- go to the hairbow aisle of any retailer and buy them each 3 or 4 cute little hairbows and barettes -- this won't cost you more than $10

If any of those adults and kids are in the same family then buy a gift certificate for dinner for the family, or offer to cut the lawn or make them a gift. Also you can check out discount dollar stores and make up a little gift basket for pretty cheap. Adults who are computer savvy might enjoy some CDs to burn their favorite songs on. Little girls are easy, you can find stuffed animals pretty cheap at Wal-Mart or dollar stores. I saw some stuffed animals at Wal-Mart yesterday for like $5.

Well, Christmas is not about the expensive gifts, but about the though behind it!
So buy some cards and some cheap gifts. I don't know what you should buy. Maybe a little plant or a little toy.

I once made some cars and airplane toys for kids out of scrap wood in my garage one year when times were tight,
They still use them, years and years later.
I have kept the simple meaningful gifts from people more than the expensive ones.
A picture frame with a picture in it will stay with them forever.
