I am in a relationship with a wonderful woman who goes through cycles of a healthy normal love to distance and mistrust. She opens up for awhile and loves fully and completely, then she gradually closes and retreats in her own world. Because of her sexual abuse as a child. I realize she has problems and needs help.She knows she needs help. How can I HELP HER AND ENCOURAGE HER TO OVERCOME HER PATTERNS OF INSTABILITY. She is currently in therapy, but free therapy does not seem to help .She has changed with some medication.still tends to cycle from great to worse back to a wonderful relationship

I dated a girl for almost 7 years off and on and she also is the mother of my child. Things did not work out between us because of her bisexuality choices and now she says she is thru with all that and truly wants to be with me. I am 28 and she is 22. What should I do? Should I give her "one more chance" or should I just tell her to go on with her life?
P.S. I have physical and full custody of our child because she lost all her parental rights.

There was this guy that I know who is very shy... Plenty of times, I do caught him looking at me which he will immediately look away... I understand from his frens that he is a shy guy and is still single... The weird thing is he will talk to other girls very easily but when I talk to him he will juz clamped up and walked away... Eventually, one day I decided to drop him an email and somehow we began to chat and get to know each other better on the net..We talked abt our lives, the things that we likes and dislikes. The truth is I do like him too but I am juz too shy to tell him.

He eventually came to know that I like a guy(it's him!) and immediately ask me who the guy that I like? I didn;t tell him its him cos I was scared to that he might not feel the same way as i do... But after that, somehow he began to ignore me... Everytime I try to chat wif him he will always said he gtg... Is he ignoring me? But why?

My grandmother is sick and she lives 16 hours away from me, i want to go visit her with my cousin but i dont want to bring the whole family. I just want to spend alone time with her and see some old friends my cousin and i hung out with as kids and come back home but my husband wants me to bring our youngest son and is getting jelouse that i would be seeing old friends there too.....he thinks i will leave him....i dont understand what hes going on about...i just want to visit my nana and friends...!!

What is more important while choosing a husband or wife? someone who enjoys doing the same things as you like hobbies and who has a simliar outlook on life in terms of what you value and feel is important in life OR someone who you know would always be faithful, a good parent to your children, loving and stable but whom you may not be able to enjoy certain things with like travel, hobbies and more importantly life values like religious views or compassion for the global community.

My boyfriend is obsessed with me, which is not good if i ever want to leave him. He loves me very much and puts me first though. My ex-boyfriend who i still have strong feelings for is trying to get back with me. We broke up because he moved away after katrina and because he's a jehovah's witness, im not. We had everything in common though. I love them both, but my ex is like my best friend. My current boyfriend would do anything for me, but i worry that he may be TOO in love, which can mean pshyco in some cases. What should i do? Also, my ex makes a lot more money right now than my boyfriend who is working on his career (if this matters). I just want to know who would be the best option.

There are many people who use yahoo to seek help with their problems. Some are depressed, some are lonely, or feel desperate about their situation and don't know what to do. Therefore, when teens post troubles that are important to teens they are seeking advice and someone to understand. However, i find that some people leave comments on their problems and mine, calling us selfish and immature. Breaking up with boyfriends, being dumped, having good friends, feeling alone and needing someone to turn to are all things that surround a teenager's life, no matter how pathetic or stupid these problems may be, they are important to teenagers, and i bet they once mattered to the 'more mature' people leaving these comments. Certainly, our problems will seem stupid compared to adult ones sometimes but it doesn't mean they don't matter.Although i do find adults can help because they have been through it sometimes.Often, i come out feeling worse then better.What do other teens think...or adults?

today on the news is a horrific story about a 19 month old baby boy mown down and killed by two 14 year old joyriders in a stolen jeep...his mother and 10 month old baby brother survived....i know what i'd do to these two kids....but it would be against the law....what should be done to stop something like this happening again and what punishment should they get? 3 years ago a 13 year old boy was also killed by joyriders in the same area by a 15 year old joyrider....i feel so sad for this family...i cannot imagine what this poor family are going through, but these two lads should be severely punished...thats my opinion

Ok. mi friend Ryan was over 4 a sleepover (we couldnt find any girls) and he wanted to talk to my friend online. He said some offensive things, but she doesnt really care. so he starts annoying her. she signs off. Now hes gone and im not sure if she's mad at me or logged off and cant see me or what! i mean she lives in Nj and i live in Va, so i cant explain at school. She doesnt know anything about him other than like if she hears us fighting or something, so then she assumes he's a bad person.

He and I met over the Internet and the first time he came to visit me, he and I spent time alone. She assumes he's disrespectful because he has not met her yet. We were planning on it, but now after her comments and reactions to different things...he and I are real nervous because he and I planning to get married and her approval meant everything. He and I are both set to for the holidays, now.

She assumes because he's older than myself and because he's Hispanic..he's not serious about me and he's cheating on me.

Then she wonders why I dont share my business with her. In order to make her like him, what do I do? Start telling her way more about him or what?! She already doesnt like him, so what can I say or do now? Or what can he say or do?!

ok my cousin always complains to me about her now one year boyfriends exx, the exx always leaves text messages on his cell phona saying that she misses him and wants him back and want to see him. You can look at my previous questions if like also, but yesturday as if i dont have enough stress on my life my husband has told me that his mom says if we move out the city of ohiladelphia which I hate she will disown him, I have four kids all my family is in Harrisburg pa ,first off we cant afford to live here the cost of living is too high, second the violence here is crazy over 300 killed by murder so far this year! I am much more comfortable in harrisburg and I have been working with a mortgage broker in Harrisburg and he has been looking at the houses with me telling me he was going to move back to Harrisburg with me. They are from Nigeria and his mother is in Nigeria at least six months out the year with her son which is mentally challenged, she doesnt try to control my husbands sister and brothers life but she wants to control my husbands every move, he asked me not to tell my mother or family what she has told him because my mom and his mom has already had confrontations.
