A guy just walks up to u proposing marriage. Before u know whats going on, ur bride price has been paid and every body starts preparin for your weddin. meanwhile, u have a strong relationship with some other guy u love dearly. Ur parents accepted this guy just because he is rich but they fail to realise that u never accapted his proposal. In a case like this, what do i do?

Who's life is this. Yours or your parents.
You really need to talk with your parents, and let them know you did not accept this proposal.
That old saying MONEY CAN'T BUY LOVE, is so true. You have to decide your own life, and take responsibility for it. I'm sure your parents are thinking about your financial future, but they aren't thinking about your happiness.
We're taught to love truth and peace, not money.

Run away. You are the one who has to live with this guy forever, not anyone else. It does not matter what anyone else thinks about this guy- all that matters is what you think/feel/know in your heart.
Run away from this rich dude, eat a footlong chili dog, and be with the man you love.

I would stand up to my parents and tell them that I am not going to marry this man. This is 2006, and you have the right to decide who you want to be with. If you do tell them, be prepared for them to be very upset.
