Well, if you guys dated off and on for almost seven years, I'm pretty sure it was for more things than her bi-sexuality. For whatever the reason is, there are just some things with the two of you that do not "mesh" and cause you guys to break up and reconcile alot. Chances are that things will not work out if you get back with her and you might end up feeling really foolish if they don't. I personally, wouldn't get back with her.

Well first of all, after doing the math based on what you told me, you ought to be in jail! LOL you were 21 dating and sleeping with a 15 year old? Please tell me your child is only 4 years old!!! Anyway, this is not a choice that the people on YA! can answer. You surely have already made your decision, and are only looking to us to justify it. Follow your gut. Do what you think is best. You could also try praying about it. Consider why she lost her parental rights. Consider who she is today based on who she was then. And remember, that the future of your child right now is far more important than your physical desires or emotional desires. Do what's right by your child. Whatever that may be.

Well dear,
it is obvious that she was or is at experimental stage of her life. you are older and may have had a chance to explore your sexuality more. I believe at one point in every ones lives they question or think about there own sexuality. Not meaning everyone wonders if they are gay, bisexual, lesbian. Meaning they want to explore something different. Only you can tell if she is being honest with you and when you have a child to think about then the situation becomes allot more crazy. If she was honest to tell you about this in the first place maybe she being honest now! good luck love is full of wonderful, crazy bad *** things!! shauna

I would need more proof than just her word. I would in all honesty consult a lawyer if you do get back together, not that will stop her if she wants a girl friend. You have not said what your feeling are so they must not be very strong as you are questioning her thoughts talk to a professional about this as it is a life changing decision

why did she lose her parental rights?
sounds kind of scarey. is that something you want your child to be raised in?
you child needs a safe, and secure environment. it doesn't sound like your 'friend' is stable enough to help take care of that child, let alone be an example.
think of the child first, what would be in that child's best interest. and then go from there.
good luck.
