We are supposed to treat each other the way we would want them to treat us so you should confront him about embarassing you like he did and let him know that there is no excuse for his behaviour. If he refuses to take responsiblity for saying anything offensive then I would let him know that next time he decides to do something like that again whether its just the two of you or if there are ppl around that you are going to get up and leave because you won't sit and tolerate it.

I suggest you tell him that he was very rude, that you very much disliked what he said. Let him vent out whatever lame excuse he may giveand then, let him know that there is NO POSSIBLE EXCUSE to be disrespectful to you, and the only way you will forgive him is if he apologizes FIRST to your friend for being so rude and then to you. That way next time he will think twice before snapping back like that.

I once did this to my husband. He had to apologize to two of my co-workers and he has never pulled that off again!!!!!

I'm guessing it was the tone of his voice that made the comment come across as rude? if so you should really go cold on him and worn him never to act like that again or he's out the door.

mind you, perhaps he's under alot of stress at work or something and was just a bit snappy that day.

you might want to look at it from his point of view and why you felt a need to discuss his purchase in the first place, what would he buy that you would feel a need to talk about it? what would you do if he did the same thing?

You have got to let him know, in no uncertain terms, that rudeness in front of others will never be tolerated.

Well was your $ or his? If it was his, you should keep your pie hole shut and apologize to him and give him sex because the husband is the man of the house and is authorized to make executive decisions. If it was your $ you should make him repay you ...

He has no respect for you. You can try to figure out why he has no consideration for your feelings, or you can simply try giving him a dose of his own medicine. He doesn't sound like he's very mature.

Maybe you need to give more details, but I didn't catch his rudeness.
