My friend is married and pregnant and now her husband wants a divorce. He wants her to have an abortion so he won't have to pay child support. He's telling her if she has the baby he will just give up his rights. Can he do that? Is that legal?

i work 60 hours a week i have my own remodeling bussniess that i work 20 hours a week i mow the yard i wash the cars i change diapers i clean the house and i have to do my laundry i come home for lunch she gives me a sandwitch she sits all day on her *** watching soaps i come home and she cant get rid of my son fast enough i mean she is lazy we been having proboblems with this since about a month after we got married i about punched her tonight i have had i dont think my son should be around this kind of enviroment what do i do

after 7 years I still love my daughters father... he still to this day will say I have his heart... we were young.. so much happend back then... if we still love eachother, we share a daughter together, whom her dream would be for us to be together.... Should I go for it? Should I make it known? We both have had our share of relationships and all in this time... but we still have the friendship where we can talk just like we always did... and the prob with us from the get go was always we have never been just friends... and i'm not saying just physically...and we haven't even been that for several years... Our emotional feelings for eachother has always been more... I'v for a while reffered to him as my forbidon love... but i wish we could make it work... we haven't tried since b4 she was ever born.... should I put it out there?

Asked a question earlier on sim. topic. My husband is Korean who came to the U.S for me 5 months ago. He's having adjust problems big time. 4 days ago he got mad at me because I was late meeting him somewhere. Since then he has not spoken to me. He resorted to throwing out all our condoms, blocking bedroom door, so I can't get in, and now he's getting drunk. I can't take his crap. I step on eggshells and talk to him calmly but he just glares at me and won't speak.
Now I know what it feels like to have culture shock. I lived in Korea for 3 year and had bad days to. But I never treated my husband the way he's treating me. If he keeps it up any longer, I want him to go back. I try everything to make his stay here good. Enroll him in English and gym classes. He doesn't work; I'm sole provider (even in Korea, he didn't work. I did). Should I send him back and do a trial separation? He told me he wants to go back. We've been married just a year and have no kids. Get out now?

My husband and I have been married for 15 yrs. we've known each other for 19.Into our 7th to 8th year of marriage we both started to become distant with each other.I fell into a depression at the time I didn't realize how down I really was until a mountain of problems began to arise.To make a very long story short we haven't been able to shake this downward spiral we've been on.It seems like everytime we try to get along something happens and we're right back to the same b.s.We've talked about divorce to many times to count and everytime we attempt to make plans to follow through we can't seem to do it.We have 5 kids and sometimes I think they're the reason we keep holding on.But as of lately things have become so stressfull between us that I can't take it anymore.Something has got to give or it's over I don't see any other way at this point.Anyway if anyone has any kind of advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

I've known this man for about 8 years and we should have gotten together a long time ago but he was too shy to ask me and I was seeing his friend and didn't think he'd ever be interested in me. By the time I got to know him, he had a live-in girlfriend who later became his wife. One night it came out that he had liked me all along but didn't think he stood a chance. We did some things we shouldn't have. We tried to stop but couldn't. Finally, he stopped talking to me altogether. Now he's started talking to me again and though we haven't seen one another, we've both told one another that the feelings are still there. He often tells me that he regrets his past decisions to be with her and his fear of trying with me. I tell him that I regret having not seen it back when things would have been easier for us. I've never advised him to leave her because I feel that would be wrong of me but I really want to be with him and we are in love. What should I do?

My friends husband is driving her crazy,he is not romantic,never spends any time with her.Hes either working or watching some lame *** movie (typical male pic of guns,shooting and action,when she speaks to him he doesnt take his eyes of the screen,then he goes staight to bed,sometimes without even a kiss good night or anything.He never initiates for sex,and he only responds when he wants to,and not neccessarily when its convienient for her.He goes from one extreme to the next sometimes very caring,gentle and loving and sometimes mean,neglectful and bossy.Shes tired feels lonely and isolate,divorce is not an option for her (SO PLEASE PEOPLE REFRAIN FROM TELLING HER TO DUMP HIM) He was raised in another country OUT IN a village and is really backward in his thinking.She just sits and dreams someday he will change but he does not shes only 26 yrs old and he never takes her out,he just blames it on account of her health problem(shes disabled because of health.What advice to give her?pleas

I want to cry, I feel like he doesn't want me, doesn't need me, doesn't care that *I* WANT intimacy with him more than once a month or so. Sex is astounding the seldom times it happens. He DOES INDEED work hard for our family, but he can take 10 extra minutes to soothe our 3yo to sleep, why can't he give me the same effort? I'm thinner than when we met, I still grab and kiss him and tell him how much I love him and how sexy I think he is. I get very little in return. He's a PERFECT HUSBAND AND FATHER in EVERY OTHER WAY. But he can't or won't compromise on intimacy. What can I do?

see my last few questions.....If he keeps insisting on a girlfriend and us to be more "open" with our marriage,I will have to leave.I have no money gave up my good job to stay home with my baby,I have 2 kids in school.I cannot afford my home since we refinanced and got more money back...that we owe.Both autos are in his name...that I can't afford.We talked about refinancing again to pay of most of our debt(except autos) I think I should wait til then and make A huge withdrawl ..you know for a new nest egg.but then what? where to go? should it be far or close ?
