The thrill of the chase is over.

Because the chase is over and so is the excitement. Men love the chase it is like hunting to them. Once they have their kill (woman) then they our done with it. Not all men are like this but unfortunately many are.
You could try to keep him more interested by being a little more aloof with him. The less you appear to need him or want him the more interested he will become. If he calls you, don't answer right away. Call me 30 minutes later. Show him that you also have a life without him.
Keep the chase going. He will remain interested. In other words don't run to him at his beck and call.
Good luck honey and God Bless

i've read the answers other have given and it seems they all want to point a finger at someone. i find that every time one points a figure there are three times as many pointing back at them. have you stopped seducing him the way you did when you first met? are you taking the same interest in making yourself look attractive as you used to? men just aren't built to keep the romance thing up for long. i'm not saying that that is right, i'm just saying that that is the way it is. men in general want to be mothered the way they were when they were little boys. they want to be comfortable in their relationship and not have to "work" for it anymore. this, understandable, offends the female. but, this is the way it has been for most of the modern era. as the transition of man and woman becoming equal in all thins evolves men may take more responsibility for keeping the romance alive.

Well, it could a few things: cheating, bored with relationship, or he just doesnt care. Why dont u just ask him and maybe there is an explanation why he isnt showing u attention

because the relationship wasn't set up to avoid and prevent lack of affection and attention. Before being a couple these things need to be discussed.

If he doesn't whip himself back into shape soon, dump him. He should be making it fun for you. Sitting here wondering why he's not showing you attention isn't fun. Men will test your limits. Show him that you have limits - when it isn't fun for you, leave fast, don't say good bye, and don't look back. If he doesn't want to spend time with you someone else will.

This is who he really is...that great guy that you met and fell for...was his idea of the guy he thought you wanted- so in order to get you- that's whom he became...and he killed that personality off as soon as he got you because it's too much work to pretend to be someone you're not.
