Marriage & Divorce - 2 August 2006

My fiance` and I decided to both quit drinking. He acts dumb and says and does stupid things when he drinks and I flip out and try to beat him up when he does them. A week and a half ago, he was saying nasty things to one of my really good friends, so I made him leave the party. Things like that happen everytime we drink.

We decided to quir alcohol (not even social drinks) and he gets mad at me when I say no to him having one or two.

He even cheated on me when he was drinking.

I want to tell him no alcohol or no me.

Is that a good way to put it?

she lives accross the street and comes over from time to time, they're good friends but when shes here like last night my husband literally ran after her when she left, i saw him staring at her boobs and butt, and he left to pick up his bro and he even forgot his wallet, cell phone and keys!! is it me or should i be jealous, he denies it when i tell him that he was staring at her. what can i do? by the way she is also married

My parents got divorced 2 years ago. My dad decided he didn't love my mom anymore, and rather than start a new relationship behind her back he did the respectable thing and told her.

Looking back, that may not have been such a good idea. My mom hasn't been the same since.

She is capable of convincing herself that her own lies are truth. I don't know how to explain it...its like she ignores reality and just believes what she wants to believe.

For example, she's convinced that my dad is a drug addict, which is absurd...and that her former best friend was seeing my dad.

This has caused problems. I was at my dad's house visiting the other night and the cops showed up...my mom had called them and told them my dad was doing drugs there with me in the house. Of course, they got there, and nothing was going on. She has also stalked her former best friend, who she thinks is seeing my dad.

She never cleans and is online all day. She eats and plays on internet 24hrs. I hate that she wont take care of the house or herself. Now she is chatting with men online. All I do is work all day and come home to nasty house and a wife on computer.

Hi all,
Married my best friend when I was studying after a lot of fight with parents. She loves me though and I did not have those feelings exactly like she is the girl I am looking for. So I was half sure and not ready. After marriage, I met another girl and fell in love with her and she is exactly the kind of girl I was looking for. Right person at the wrong time!!! The circumstances then, emotionally, financially also helped us come close together as I was very low and depressed for various reasons. Now, I am stuck up between these two and cant decide which way to go. I tried forgetting this girl and move on with my wife but could not.
I feel terrible for being in this situation where I cant love and keep my wife happy, but keep thinking of this girl. I want to spend my life with this girl and its killing my conscience as I am already married. Plz advice.

my wife recently left home taking my 2 yo daughter. She said that a lot of little things have built up over time and she is not happy anymore. I have tried to reason with her, i have offered to go to counseling..ect. we have been married for only 6 months. i do not beleive in divorce, we both come from a super religious families, who are very angry. I have told her to forget the past and start over, she says it aint that easy. I am angry because she cheated on me twice in our relationship prior to marriage, and it took all i had to forgive her, that was 3 years ago, now she cant return the favor?. She says she loves me still...i am absolutly confused here, she said something about we argued to much since being married? Should I let her go or what can I do. The last thing I want is a divorce. hello everyone, well heres my problem, my babys dad has recently started staying out alot more then usual, he usually leaves in the evening and says that he's going out to do this or that ie get money hes owed from a friend, get fags, or fill up petrol or chill with his mates ect. he always gives me a time that he'll come home, and some of the time he does abide by that and comes home on time, but at other times like now for instance he's been out over 4 hours, he did answer his phone when I called him earlier, but is no longer answering, i am very used to him doing this. he went to see his father as he was ill, but the last I spoke to him he was on his way, (please bear in mind that this has happened before) he always seems to have a valid excuse, but every time he does this to me I feel hatred towards him, I feel unapreciated and used, I dont no why. please help me? how would I deal with this?
