Marriage & Divorce - 2 August 2006

I am on deployment and it's down to weeks until I come home. I cheated on my wife just before I left for deployment. I later confessed. If you will look back, you will see other questions I have asked. I'm doing some soul searching. I really want to work this out with her, and I know I am a dog. So please lets save the slaming me for being a cheater. I got slamed in all the other questions. The question is, what can I do right now to make it better for her, and what can I do to try and help keep us together both now and when I get home. I already have plans for coulseling, but what else can I do to try and work this out for the long term. She is not talking to me much, and with out hounding her I am trying to keep comuication open. I really didn't know how much I do love her, until I messed up. Oh yea, Thanks for all the help on the others questions. This is kind of like the family I never had.

my parents have divorced + remarried new spouses. i am an adult and live alone. however i feel like i have nowhere to call "home", as in having roots or a sense of belonging. i feel like excess baggage in both parents' lives. anyone else experienced this?

i have been married for 6 years and have 2 children,latley my husband and i have been fighting constantly and i have no desire for sex.But after all this fighting the past few months last night he was very loving and wnated to actually talk and hold each other which is very rare for him.I dont know whats going on with him.Do you think everything will be ok between us or will our arguments continue.

It was suggested that because I am a mother (I have 1 child) and am in a relationship with some one with children, that it is a luxury to get my hair, nails, and feet done! However I could do that if I cut back on spending money on him and his children, I am tired of being "nice" and spending money when he won't even follow up with the courts to have their mother pay the child support which at present is $10,000! She has never paid a cent! Also if it were just he and I and he received the support he could get ahead a bit! Plus his 18 year old just moved in with us and he's not in school nor does he have intentions for college and my fiance still pays his mother child support for him! He claims that since he has one still living with her if he did go to court to drop it, they would increase it!

I got divorced in 2003 following a 2 year marriage. As time has gone by, I've gradually 'forgotten' what my ex-wife looked like. I naturally destroyed all material evidence of her brief and bleak presence in my life. All I have now is a blurry memory of the past. Is this natural? I have a problem with my wife, sex is great with her, but she doesn't romance me at all. At least not like we used to when were boyfriend/girlfriend. Now, the ONLY time we have sex is when I initiate it. What I don't get, is that she's like a guy in bed, she comes to orgasm really quick and takes such enjoyment out of it that she's done for the evening leaving me haning; if it's that good, why can't she have me in her thoughts all the time and want it non-stop? We've been together about 3 years and we're happy and I love him more and more everyday. I'm 21 and I want to wait until I'm out of college to get married, but I want to get engaged sooner. My husband admitted to me that he dreamed of having sex with another woman last night. He says that he did not see a face only the body. We looked it up on dreammoods.com to see what it may mean, and it stated that he may be dissatisfied with our physical relationship. At the point I turned around and asked him if that was so, and he immediately said, "yes, our sex is baadd", with emphasis on the word bad. Now, he immediately saw the hurt look on my face, and backtracked saying, "I didn't mean it like that, I meant that we have been having sex at least every other day, and now we've gone two days without having sex". My partner and i have been together for 1 year plus and he did tell me about being engage, he even trying to save up. We have been co-habitant for 1 year. But i find that he still like to go out to drink with his friends once or twice every week, does this mean he's still playful and not stable yet eventhough he's making a little effort.
