Forgiving is one thing, but, its the forgetting thats another. I wouldnt/couldnt do it... But, the real question here is, CAN YOU?
Can you give him another chance with a complete peace of mind that he will never do that to you again?? I guess if you can, then you will be among the few...

But, I have learned through experiences that some friends of mine have gone through, once a cheater, always a cheater! Trust is a big "must" in a marriage..

Just dont let him disrespect you a second time..

No, so I got a divorce over a year ago after 31 yrs. Only he had cheated most of our time together, and I actually got feed up and let it go. So, it's up to you to determine what you can take and how you want to deal with it. He's not going to stop cheating, he'll only try different ways to go about it now that you've caught him. That's what my ex did until I started getting my backup information together for my divorce & freedom from all the stress & depression I went through because of my so call love for him. It wasn't worth it even after I talked to him about the consequenses if he didn't stop. (He didn't, so I asked him to go). Do what will make you happy, he knew what he was in jeapordy of loosing, and didn't care to stop before he was caught so don't think about his needs.

Absolutely not. If you agree to work it out with him, he'll think he has a free license to do this to you again and again. Get a lawyer so you can immediately initiate a legal separation or divorce so you can start separating your debts and assets. You don't want to be financially responsible for any more than you already are. Especially if he's used your joint account to buy her or anyone else expensive gifts.

How do you know he was telling his lover that he loved her? Do you know her? And if your husband told you that, do you believe HIM since his word isn't really credible right now? Ask yourself if the marriage is worth saving, can you really forgive him? Then go to counseling. I've known of marriages to survive adultery but it took both going through serious therapy to get to the core issues.

A relationship is hard work. Right now you have the opportunity to leave him and it would be his fault completely.

You need to decide if he truly made a mistake or you truly believe it wasn't meant to be.

Think with your mind and your heart.

I think that cheating is mostly the reason for divorces if u think that he is not going to cheat again ur wrong if they cheat on u once that means that they will probably do it again cheating just proves that they dont love you.

A man's point of view: he is an a$$wipe, he will never change, don't postpone what you know will come anyway.
Get a lawyer and counsel.

The question isn't whether or not you forgive him, It's that he cheated on you in the first place.........and he will do it again!
