Hi im in 5th grade 10 years old and my 2 best friends and i told our 2 friends Vinda and Michelle who we like and they promised not to tell and Michelle didnt tell but Vinda did.She told 1 of our friends Lei.We trusted Vinda =(.And Lei asked us not to tell Vinda cuz Vinda asked her not to tell.And whats even worst about it is she lied because after school 1 of y best friends was walking with me and she went up to Vinda knowing Vinda told Lei.She said,"Somebody told Lei who we like!'' Then Vinda said,"Yeah?'' Then my friend said,"Yeah how did she find out who told her?" Then she lied and said,"I dont know she probably already knew." That was the biggest freakin lie we ever heard!We thought mabye at least Vinda would tell her thats why she did that! But no she still lied! What do you think we should do? We cant tell her we know she told Lei because she told her not to tell us she told Lei so Lei asked us not to tell!HELP PLEASE

Basically I have recently gained quite a bit of weight (mainly due to an accident I had 4 months ago which left me depressed and trapped at home most days, the gym was a no go area). I was a comfortable UK size 12/14 which I was happy with. I am not happy with the weight I have put on.

Well my best friend who is 29yrs old (I am 22) knows I am unhappy and knows I have been dieting and getting back to exercise now that I have recovered. What has upset me is the fact that she is always calling me fat even before I put on the weight, pointing out my weight gain, and doing it in public very loudly, this evening I was with her for 1hr and she called me fat about 7 times, I had a go at her and she just said 'but u are fat' so we sat in silence all the way home.

I am feeling really bad, both about the weight and the fact that my best friend is calling me names that I haven't heard since I was in school. And don't know what to do about either.

HELP!!!!!!!

Need your help. Met someone who's gotten really complicated 2 figure out. I'm getting ready 2 dump him. I need your expertise first. The person I met-I've been talking 2 for almost 4 months. We've talked about a lot of things & his biggest thing was being completely honest w/ each other. He made it very clear he detests those that play games. He also said he doesn't play games,Okay, I've been honest & I'm not into playing games either. He, on the other hand has not been totally honest w/me on several things & has already disappointed me by not following through. He's canceled 2x's or changed his mind when we were to see each other right at the last minute. Not even an apology was given. I breakup up w/him & keeps calling 2 try and mend things. This person takes anti-depressants, (20 yrs). Could this be the reason he's goofy? He's confused me a number of times by saying something & then saying I misunderstood, WTF! He's already introduced me to his 9 yr daut'r. Go ahead and dump him?

I sent a long email to a friend I had been messing around w/ saying that I thought it would be better if we remained strictly friends to not ruin our friendship. He replied by saying, "Okay, cool!No prob." and nothing else and now he hasn't been calling or speaking to me. He didn't even address what i wrote in the email. ok, i have this friend named rachel. and we are best friends! i am not popular, and she is! she is like a guy magnet! i don't get jelous, but, it seems like i never see her anymore and we live across the street! all the guys put on a show for her! they dont act like themselves so she would like them! we tried teling her, we knew them since 1 grade!
i told her i felt left out! but things are ok! we have 7 periods not including lunch and we have gym last! things go ok until gym! that's when the guy's flirt w/ her! she is awesome at sports, and me... not so much! what should i do! i think it would be rude if i told her she couldn't hand out w/ them!!!! so, beside that, what should i do????

yea, I have 3 close friends! they all don't get along at all! and on top of that, they all drive me crazy!! one is wayyyy to hyper and makes me soo mad and creates drama! another ditches me for popular kids and is way too bossy! my other one is my closest, and she is always whining and complaining and has to get her way! on top of that, she is starting to go anorexic because she is "too fat" when she is only like 5 lbs overweight!

i just don't know what to do!

A dear friend of mine is recently divorced. She has been insulted so much so her self esteem is in shatters. She asked me crying "What is wrong with me?" Do I tell her how to start fixing some of the problems I see? Do I offer to take her shopping or for a girls day at a Spa?

She has the inner beauty, and could possess the outer beauty as well....or am I setting myself up for loosing a friend...This unusual, because most of the time I would just blurt out what the problem is and how to fix it....

This has bothered me....the wanting to help and unsure as to how.
Any ideas....especially from those of my contacts....

hey people how are you?

Im a high school senior preparing for college. I was having a good senior time until few weeks ago. let me start from the begining, 1month ago me and my best friend decided not to talk again, at least for quite some time. since then, we are not talking.i have another close friend which is now into being popular (in her senior year i know its pathetic) and hangs out with other people. we are in holiday right now and she didnt call me for 3 days, we always used talk and meet. so i was at home all weekend and nobody ever bothered to call me. also, few days ago i found out that my dog (which is one of my best friends ) got a cancer that has no cure. inaddition, i got caught in the exam and in trouble. plus, i am not talking to my father bcuz he's mad at me and my mother. i never had a boyfriend and still dont have one.. as you can see there's no single thing going right in my lfe and im starting lose hope. i feel desperate and lonely i never felt like this before

I unsderstand typical teenager things, but you are brinking adulthood things and that is UNACCEPTABLE for my daughter. Jasmine is a nice person and a genuine friend. You have hurt her feelings repeatedly and she is always forgiving. How can you ask for encouragement in one breath and the next your basically saying your going to become sexually active soon?????? well after school me and this kid thats kinda my friend his name is angel (hes BLACK)were haggin out after school,and when he left i noticed that my phone was missing,and late i called my friend (elias)and told him about this and that i had a clue who did it,and today at church,my friend told me,that he was gonna ask him if he stole my phone,because them two are close friends,and angel told him that he DID! take it and he was selling it and later he called me to tell that he did!!,and i'm gonna see him tomorrow at school,but what do i tell him,because i don't want to tell him that my friend told me that he stole it from me,because my friend was pretending that he wanted to buy it from him,and thats when he told him that he did take it,so what do i tell him tomorrow!!!??!

my friend is a teacher and she was telling me of this boy who when he was 6 punched a girl in the mouth for no reason and couldnt understand why he was punished for it. had sex at the age of 10, and when he was 14 threw a chair in the middle of a crowded hall way and hit the teacher in the head. he then took a gun to school when he was 16 and also would sell some drugs at school. the thing is the kid is very intelligent, i would say above average. he lies constantly and sometimes causes fights between other childeren. has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

What if you had a friend that tells you that her friend is going to ask you out and then the next day she calls you on the phone and tells you that her friend is going to kiss you. Do you think it's her or really a friend of hers????
