Friends - November 2007

Since I am not going home on thanksgiving this year, my roommate's family invite me to their house to have dinner with them. Should I bring anything? They will pick me up tomorrow morning so I have no where to go to buy any gifts. The easiest thing I can make I think are some cookies now... should I bring some or just go with nothing? Or maybe I can send a thankyou card after thanksgiving?

I'm 15 and he's 18.He's all about responsibility and I am too just in different ways. And well I really really love this guy but, he told me he doesn't like me like that because of my "immaturity". But, how can I show him that I am mature and that we actually have a lot in common? I've known him for a while and would like to get closer to him,even just as a friend. He said were like friends I guess but, we never hang out or anything....and i just want to prove to him that I'm a down chick. but how? what should i do?

My Bff and I just graduated junior high and now go to different high schools. Things were okay. But then a week ago, she hadn't called me at all and when I saw her she totally had an attitude so i got really mad and waited for her to call me. But she didn't. So I wnated to knwo what was goign on so I called her and she said that she was mad cuz I didn't call her. We laughed it off. Just today, she got all mad at me for like no reason: because my mom "forced" me go hug her last weekend. We don't really hug each other much anwyays but she acted like I betrayed her or something because I didn't make the decision on my own. But she acts like its my responsibility to hold our friendship together. She thinks I'm going to always called her when we get in a fight, or I'm always going to make plans, or I'm always the one who's supposed to hug her first. But we've been BFF's since 3rd grade, so I really don't know what to do? Help?!?
P.S. She's kind of changed since she's went to high school.

He usually offers me really good advice, like the time he told me it would be delicious to eat the mushrooms growing on my basement floor, but sometimes its bad advice like the time he told me that what my mom really wanted for her birthday was a rabid possum. Hello I'm scared for my mom I think she's way over-protective. Hearing from other's "over protective" mom stories my mom is going a little extreme. No, I don't want my belly button peirced or to get a bigger allowence but as being 14 I think I should get a little freedom. Some examples are: When she is in the shower I'm not even allowed in the front OR the back yard PLUS I have to lock all the windows and doors when she is in the shower. Another ove-protective example is she wont even let me walk down to the park that's half a block away. Last time I walked down to the park alone she beat me with a belt. "If I ever see you go down to the park alone again I'll beat you within an inch of your life" so this pretty much ruins my life and I can't do much about it. She wont take me any where either unless school. I love my mom but If she wont let me have any freed om I don't know what I'll do she just wants me home at all times she wont even let me play in the street. any advice? -tula

ok well yesterday we were at the library in the computer lab. It was biology class the last class of the day well this happened.
Me, shawn, lorie, and jesse were there and me and lorie have the same bras so we were talking about that. Then shawn started unbuttoning my shirt so that he could so my bra(i didnt do nothing) and ummm yeah he only saw like where my boobs meet and stuff. Lorie and Jesse saw too. I feel disgusted with myself cuz i didnt do anything i just stood there i feel like ugh!!! where the **** was my dignity at we are all friends i need to . make sure that that never happens again . Cuz i just stood there and i didnt do anything about it help!!! Im not the type of flirting popular girl. So why did i let that happen? im 15 help me and talk some sense into me!!! note i have only gone out with 1 person my whole life.

my two best friends and i had a massive argument on friday but yesterday we made up !

it was all because i felt left out because of lots of little thiings like them going together always in p.e and me left out and sleeping at others houses and not inviting me!
i told them i how i felt and they finally forgave me ...

this week i just looked on one of theirs bebo and the other friend left a comment sayin can i go with you for p.e and do you want to sleep on friday!

are they doing this on purpose?!!?

i feel like a loner and why are they doing this!?!

For some reason, my friend feels that he has to let everyone know about problems that I may be having and it’s bothering me. He takes a little event and blows it way out of proportion. I just don’t understand the fascination with some people who likes to follow you and monitor what goes on in your life every single second. I did talk to him about it, and he said he apologize for disrespecting me, and that was it. We’ve been friends since High School and he’s help me out many times and I helped him out. The only time he really makes me mad is when he talks bad things about me. Has anyone been in this difficult situation before? How did you move on and still remain friends?

ok, my friend has been cutting herself really really deeply and more frequently now. and she says she'll nvr quit. i told her if i quit she quits. well i quit cutting and she still hasn't quit. i am rlly rlly worried about her. i have been trying to get her to stop for about 2weeks now. she hasn't either. i think one of these times she's gonna not stop bleeding and then not tell anyone and die. i am afraid for her life. so i told my mom. even thou i kinda screwed myself over cause my mom found out i was cutting again then, so i had to go to Miller dwann again. and that wasn't fun. (miller dwann's for troubled children) but i think my friend will not forgive me for telling my mom to tell her mom about her cutting. she needed help, but did i give her help the right way? and do u think she will ever forgive me? i think if i wouldn't have done sommin about it she would have killed herself shortly. but did i do the right thing??

One of my friends is thinking of committing suicide, and I can't find any way to help him. I live with my boyfriend and two other people... I am primarily the one working right now *two just started their jobs, and my bf is going to school* so I have been working about 45-55 hours a week in order to make sure that we can pay our rent. Every night, they are always loud when I am trying to go to sleep. I have asked them to be quiet, and they normally are for 5-10 minutes, and then they are loud again. I hate telling them every night that they have to be quiet, but I am only getting about 3 - 4 1/2 hours of sleep every night! I have an hour drive one way to work, and i'm afraid im gonna be so tired im going to fall asleep driving to work. How do I make them be quiet so I can sleep??????

is it really true im emo or is my friend just crazy....
How I spend my day:
-wake up and lie in bed for half an hour and think about people i miss in my life and think about what I did wrong and eventually cry
-go take a shower
-go hang out with friends at the mall or the beach or somewhere....
-login to msn
-chat with friends (who think i'm emo)
-shut down computer
-watch mtv
-eat dinner
-log on to messenger again
-log off and go to lie down in bed
-listen to my mp3 player
-and eventually fall asleep and then the day starts again...

so what do you think???

my now ex-best friend and i used to fight constantly. we just were always at each others throats and we were even starting to drift apart. this morning she and i fought again and i really blew up because everytime she has a bad day-which apperantly is all the time- her and i usally talk about it but she flips out on me and says that its just because shes "had a bad day." like that makes it okay. so i moved out of her locker and i didnt sit with her at breakfast, basicly now im avoiding her.
do you think its better that i moved out of her locker (high school) and was it right for her to vent on me?

at my school were having a 3 day to night stay for a trip and we are allowed to pick one buddy to be with and then you have to have two other people of a higher grade and we dont know who they are so would we get caught you think if we changed rooms with people ww know at night then go back early in the morning
