I do not know your age. A bottle of wine is always acceptable if the family has no argument with that. Otherwise pick up a cake or pie at a bakery on the way. Or just a gift card for them thanking them. And Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well.

I think cookies will be nice, whatever you decide to bring it is the thought that counts. The card is also a nice idea, im sure the most important thing for them is you being there. Have a happy and safe thanksgiving.

A thank you note is always in order after such an invitation. If you have the skills and the time, some Christmasy-spicy cookies that can be snacked on over the next few days are a nice choice.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMII4
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Go ahead and make some cookies. Cookies are always a welcome item. I would also send a thank you card too. A polite thing to do. Or just ask what you can bring or just say would cookies be alright. Good luck!

see what you have to work with. deviled eggs? green been casserole, brownies, cookies, anything is a good gesture. if you dont feel like cooking just the thank you card would work too. there family is most likely going to have a ton of food anyhow and wouldnt be expecting you to make anything to begin with. you could bring over board games, a deck of cards or ono cards, or even a good nuetral movie for after dinner if you dont want to cook. im 23 and our family meets at my step moms parents house every year. i dont bring food. but this year im bringing my guitar hero games over so me and my younger siblings have something to do after dinner.

Bring a dessert... pumpkin pie perhaps,... but if they invited you they probably have plenty and would be happy to have you. You will not be considered rude if you dont bring anything, just remember to say "Thank You" when you are done.
