She is so mean and when I try to talk to my parents about it, all they say it "Stop making up pathetic lies to get your little sister into trouble. She would NEVER do something like that to you!" Guess what? she does! I absoultey hate her! What should I do?

I was just wondering if I can get some of your viewpoints if you are in this situation, or know someone who is. I have 3 sons, and one daughter who is the baby of the family. Their ages are 7, 3, 22 months and 11 months. On the one hand she's got it made right ? There will always be boys in our house, she'll probably have crushes on all her brother's friends. Since she's the baby i'm sure she'll be protected and sometimes smothered by them, never allowed to bring a boyfriend home, lol. And she'll probably have them wrapped around her little finger, driving her to the mall and giving her money.

But seriously I am wondering if she'll be unhappy. If she'll always long for a sister, and be lonely because she'll feel they have each other and she doesn't have a sister to share things with. I don't know b/c I have 2 sisters and no brothers, but I know when I was younger I longed for the older brother. if any of you are in a family like this, i'd like to know your opinion. Thanks

I have a step daughter who is 14. She ran away Friday and I want to make some changes.
Is it wrong for me to not allow her to wear thong underwear, thick black eyeliner, 2 tone hair (Half Black, Half Blonde), or go on vegan diets? (Even though her mother and father (my husband) said it is ok)
Her father and I have had her for 2 years, Her mother is somewhat involved.
She does not represent herself as I would like.
Knowing she represents me and her father in a bad way.
Is it wrong for me to want to take all this away from her?
My husband said it will make it for a rough relationship with his daughter if he were to do that. I feel she may hold a grudge, but once she is an adult she will forgive him knowing she can think like an adult and not a child.

Please help!

My wifes sister is a 15 year old high school student. I have known her since she was eight years old and have been a very good 'friend/pal'

She has lived with us for a year along with her mother. The problem is this. She is very disrespectful to me and does not listen to me and says that she dosent have to do what I say. She has actually hit me as well when we are alone.

My problem is that I need her to respect me in my home as well as my wife to know the issues. My wifes teen sister spins things around to look like it is my fault and that I am a bully and her mother and sister do not believe that their "sweet" sister would do these things.

They think that she just acts up because I provoke her. In actuallity the child has been raised by her mother very spoiled and get's whatever she wants and does not have 'alot' of discipline.

I just need some advice on how to deal with all of this because right now her family thinks that I am causing all of the trouble.

Thanks ahead-

My daughter has never met her dad and has never had a choice about it as he refused to know her. we were told you cannot force him to care He now wants to meet her but she is too young to make a choice (only 4) She also has a daddy in her life that has raised her. How can I make him understand that it is only fair to give her a choice on whether she wants to meet him or not and that he has to wait until she's old enough to decide

I have a wonderful relationship with my mother and sister. We are like best friends with our ups and downs. I am 32 and my sister is 5 years older. My mother loves us here because we all help each other out. Everyone works and pulls their own (my sister and I both have children). We take turns on babysitting or picking kids up from school when the other has to work late. Neither my sister or I want to leave mom alone. However, I want to start grad school in the fall should I wait until I have finished or just go ahead and move?

My mom and I had a much better relationship when I lived a thousand milesd away. Now I moved back home this year (after college) and things are awful. She tells me what to wear, how to eat, when to spend time with my fiancee, and even who is going to be my fiancee's best man. I know she loves me and is lonely after her recent divorce, but I don't know how to put up boundaries with her because she hangs money, and the fact that I live with her, over my head. I've offered to pay rent, utilities, groceries, anything that will put us on a level ground, but she won't accept any money. My fiancee doesn't like her because he thinks she's controlling. So I feel pulled between pleasing her (which is what I would normally do) and standing up to her because that's what my fiancee wants. Should I just move out? I haven't because we live in Aspen and it's super expensive; I would have to get another job (my third) to pay for everything..... Should I do it?

I am a stay at home mom who educates her children from home. Sometimes I have problems when needing to "switch my hat". I can't seem to transition from educator to mom real easily. Or vice versa. Sometimes I just want to have a parent/teacher conference with myself! Any suggestions on the transition?

In my family, my dad and I always have arguments and conflict with each other. My dad is pretty much the leader of the household, but I have a dominant personality. This causes lots of disagreement.
Any ideas on how to prevent conflict?
