He told me that if i got good grades he would let me date, when i did start too se started to freak out and was so controling over eveything, and then when we broke up he told me that it would be best if i didnt date at all.

I'm a 18 yearold girl and My mom treats me like I'm stupid. She always repeat things more slowly than my other siblings to me and tells me the most obvious things, like when to wash my hands. She doesn't trust me to use things like tools, I have experience with tools, even with a power saw and she acts like I can't use a hammer. She believes my little sister is smarter than me just because she's in honors class. That may be true but I help her with school even though I'm in regular classes. My guess this is lack of respect, but I don't know. People have trust me to do big responsibilities and my mom gives me the easiest jobs. Does my mom need to treat me better or I'm I just overreacting? What should I do?

ok i have a real big problem around my house. Every is so lazy! they live like pigs, i am sick of this!! i live in a family of 5, me and my dad are the only ones who do work around the house, i have tried everything i can think of but it doesnt work. I have tried locking satallite, locking computer, talking to them. I spend 3-4 hours every night picking up after them...I need to break this habit they have gotten into help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my dad left my mom after i was born i havetn heard from him since. i want to knwo if he si alive, i wnat to meet him but i dotn know how it woudl work i dotn want to tell my mom tha i want to do this,no one knows,i dotn want a stepdad i want my dad or just to hear his side of whay happened and why he left me.

I cry about everyday wishing I was gone and out of this life. My parents have practically no money. I want to get a job to support them, but I'm only 13. They aren't happy like before any more. They owe alot of debts and can't get another job with their little education cuz they went 2 the u.s. a litttle after highschool. They work hard though. They r also sick. So they can't even buy much medicine. Right now I have straight As and learn as much as I can 2 help my parents in the future, though it might be 2 late. Wat should I do?????????? I feel so depressed.

My mother-in-law is coming for xmas, and will get to see her third grandchild for the first time. of course we are excited...but im have NO idea what to get her!
she lives in Hawaii, so she is used to exotic things...should i go that route? or try something different?

My sister just ended a 9 year relationship with a guy who was not good for her, and I'm scared she's heading in the same direction. This guy was immature, not willing to commit (even after 9 years), and had zero responsibility (he was in his 30s). She finally ended it, which I was happy about because her personality has changed for the better. She's happy without him. However, she thinks she really likes this one guy who sounds EXACTLY like her ex. I'm scared she'll fall into the same trap. I've already told her my honest sisterly opinion about him, is there anything else I can do to keep her from getting hurt again? I can't stand to see her with another jerk. Her ex was not only awful to her, but he was awful to me. He lied to her a lot and hurt her, which hurt me. How can I help her from making the same mistake?

My mom and I work at the same place. We have talked about things that go on in each of our depts., she works in one and I work another. Today she tells me she told everything that I had told her and it got back to the main bosses. I told her I cannot afford to be brought in the middle of her gossip sessions because my husband's job isn't looking so well now. What we have always said about work has always been known to be kept in strict confidence. I feel as though she betrayed me to make herself look better in her dept. because she offered up details when her bosses got pulled into the office. My boss eventually ended up in the office and I'm sure I'll hear about it all when I go back in. She favors my sister and acts like I'm intruding if I come over and they are together. Then she wonders why my brother doesn't come over or call. I'm guessing its time for me to go the way of my brother and break ties with her too. Especially since she's made it known she only worries about my sister.

That sounds terribly childish, I know. I told my mother that I was dating a guy she's not very fond of. She said she was disappointed in me and told me she can't stop me because I'm an adult now and can make my own mistakes now. I'm coming home for Christmas and I don't know how to deal with my parents not backing me up on this.

My boyfriend means the world to me, but my family has always been the most important thing in my life.

I am my brother's legal guardian. Today he angered me, because when I went to pick him up from school a toddler smashed his iPod Nano which he recently got for his birthday. (2 weeks ago) My brother did the unthinkable.... He pushed the little boy down to the ground. He couldn't have been older than 2. And my brother is 11 years old. I know the little boy angered him, but what my brother did was a HUGE mistake, and everyone was staring at him, so I did what came first in my mind, and I yelled loudly at him, and pulled his ear. Now I feel like a horrible person. I've never reacted like this. I even made him cry. But what would've you done in this situation. A 12 year old picking on a 2 year old is just wrong.

I understand that people take their jobs seriously, especially when you have people depending on your performance, but if I get 15 sick days, at the end of the year I might have 5 left. If I got it I'm using it, even if it's just to chill for the day!

my best friend brandon kohler who is also my tuter asked me yesterday if amanda mitchell a girl i liked for 2 years and still do got a boy friend would i be jelious i told him yes he asked me if i would beat the kid up i told him no i would just punch the wall a couple times to relive stress. now today we were in a study hall together and he had to go to a teachers room and he told me to ask to go to the bathroom so we could talk and i did we were walking in the hall and he said i have something to tell you i said what is it he goes this is going to pe really hard to tell you but i said just tell me already he says amanda mitchell asked me out and i said yes so now i go into the boys bathroom and start punching the sment wall all of my knuccles started bleeding and he asked me if i wanted him to break up with her i smerked and said forget it. we walked back and he told me if i wanted he would break up with her i didnt say a word to him i just sat there for period and punched desk........................................................

I grew up in West Phillie- mostly playin' bastketball and stuff. But a couple of gangstas showed up and I got in one little fight, and my Mom sent me to live w/ my Aunt and Uncle! I had to ride in this smelly taxi, with fuzzy dice in the mirror...I arrived at the place about 7 or 8...but enough details. What should I do? Will I like it here?
