ok i have a real big problem around my house. Every is so lazy! they live like pigs, i am sick of this!! i live in a family of 5, me and my dad are the only ones who do work around the house, i have tried everything i can think of but it doesnt work. I have tried locking satallite, locking computer, talking to them. I spend 3-4 hours every night picking up after them...I need to break this habit they have gotten into help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is the role of your Dad? can't he stand up for the family and talk about discipline? sorry but this is not what family is all about if they keep taking advantage of those members who tried to keep things organized.
You do things for them that is why they don't want to do anything..you both have a habit too of picking things around that makes these things worst..
Family meeting first..and then your father would give them their chores to do and make schedule for each and everyone..If they don't obey these, time for you to get your own room and stop worrying about them.that is the way they want to live.. and this is not the way you want it.so get your own space.. ask your father.. he would give you a reward for being good boy. don't focus on the problem but try to solve it again and again until you get the final answer.
and where is Mom? Mom's good at advice around the house..did you try asking her opinion and help?

Throw it in their room on the bed and continue to pile things day after day...eventually, they will have to pick up the pile to find things and their bed. You could also try putting up with leaving it alone for a few days...possibly someone else will get the picture, if not the only other solution I can think of is to start a place where you put all the things you find laying around...like in the garage or in garbage bags. That may make them angry, but they will learn a lesson. These are things my Dad use to do to us and it did work! Good Luck!

have the same problem... there was 4 of us- daughter
20yrs.old just left for navy.... now 3 of us... son is 17...
he goes to school and works maybe 3 days a week..
all i ask him to do is water and feed the dogs.... I end up
doing it too... Husband the same way... they expect supper
on the table, clean clothes for the next day and I work 6 days
a week. husband only works 5days....I don't do much on Sundays--it's my day...but their starting to eat alot of
sandwiches too.....and backing off the chores....

quit cleaning after them cos you are teaching that its ok to leave things behind after all you and your dad will clean for them. Get the picture? The problem is you dont mean what you say. if you have to cook then cook for your dad and you
