My dad wont go look for a job he just lies on the couch all day watching tv. He wasnt even suppose to be living with me but a week turned into two- until four months went by. What do I do? He has nowhere else to go.

my hubby is a musician and all he thinks about is his band and music. i have to actually work and support my 2 kids. i tried telling him nicely to go get another job and he gets pissed at me. he works only on weekends for 100 bucks, thats like 600 a month. i have been married for a year. Known him for 3 years. Back then he wasnt like that. His a really nice guy its just his music and his band.

I am a 28 year old woman who comes from a big family. All of us grew up in the projects, but I've always wanted more for myself. I had always been called a nerd because I always had my head in a book. I obviously had a diiferent outlook on life than the rest of my family, but I never held it against them. I wish I could say that they treated me with the same regard. I finally went on to college and graduated with honors and I now work at one of the biggest law firms in my state. I was the first in my family to go to college and no one in my family bothered to come to my graduation. I'm a black woman but my family always criticizes me and says that I think I'm white simply because I use proper grammar and I continuously strive to better myself. I have NEVER put any of them down for not graduating from high school or any of the other things they have done, yet I constantly feel like I was born into the wrong family. Should I talk to them about how I feel?

Is it normal behaviour for a 33 year old single Uncle to speak to his 18 year old niece 2,3 or 4 times every day?
The conversations are always online and appear innocent. He is encouraging her to visit him for Christmas vacation. He lives 600 miles away.

afraid God is going to punish her for being so contemptuous of other people. When I've asked her why she has to be so contemptuous of others, she gets defensive and angry. I am in my 40's and this trait in her character still eats at me. She doesn't accept criticism well and I know she is not going to change as she is 70 yrs.old and has been this way for as long as I can remember. Do you have any advice as to how not to let this irritate me as much as it does?

every day my nan will bring up a story about my grandad (there divorced) its usually like remember when he turned up to his mothers funeral drunk and when we got him home we had to tie him to a chair to stop him escaping out for more drink
belive me there are thousands of them when she says them i want to cry im filling up as im typng this and im not an emotional person they upset me i love my grandad loads he was like my dad until he left i still see him but like every other week
my nan is incredibly btter about him and resents the fact that i talk to him she would lose it if i told her how i feel what do i do (at the moment im living with her)

Listen guys I am unable to sleep at night from age of 10 now i am 16 . Till last year i go to bed but cant sleep . These year i made a plan to use my time at night time because i dont got sleep at night but they got angry they are unable to understand that my all area working have been incress . i am giving better porfomence in study and all feild . my mom is a packrat... she never tells anyone no when it comes to useless junk.. my stepdad stopped helping her clean up and now im getting close too... she just takes stuff and piles it up in our house.. it started with our enclosed front porch and then our garage and now she has piles of stuff EVERYWHERE... she wont let us have a yardsale but she never takes the time to go through and see what she wants and what to throw away she just piles it somewhere... our house looks trashy all the time... its so embarrasing does anyone have any ideas of what i can do.. i need to unclutter this shyt but my mom never wants to do it

This is my story, I am 21 years old and am going through a divorce. I was married for 2 and a half years, and 90 % of the time I was supporting my husband and me and our 2 dogs. I couldn't put up with it anymore so I kicked him out, he was always doing drugs and off with his buddies, the reason we got married is because I was pregnet. Well, 2 weeks after we got married I miscarried, had a tubal pregnancy. I am paying for the divorce. Now I am dating someone who I really care about, he's black and I am white, he has 3 kids, and is also 10 years older than me. My parents never accepted my husband til now, they think I should go back to him or move back home because "my mom needs me" , my mom has a lot of health problems and is clinically depressed. I have been having to deal with this since I was young. I just want to live my own life. My parents aren't usually racist, but they said I could never bring him around and that I am alienating myself from them. Any advice is appreciated
