We recently needed a birth certificate from Maryland, we didn’t quite know how to go about getting it, so did a search in yahoo and decided on www.vitalcheck.com Just follow their onscreen instructions, they are safe and fast. You will be happy with the results and total cost was only $19.00!

If you live near the County of the birth, you can go to the County's records office and obtain a birth certificate in about 5 minutes for only $5.
