the rent? i moved a close relative with me,( when i moved out of California),and my 3 small children , im a single mother, and he agreed to help me pay rent, he hasnt and he has been here for 9months, and i have been very upset so i stopped talking to him,,,am I wrong?

Not talking solves nothing. And nagging doesn't either.
You need to tell him, "we need to talk"
then you tell him what the problem is. Give him the option to help out or move out. If he decides to help out, tell him that rent is due on the first and that you want the money the week before. If he can not make ends meet then tell him "I'm sorry but you have to move out"
It's hard because he is a close relative but he is also taking advantage of you and your kindness (and prob eating all the food).
Remember, after you give him the options. You have to follow through, or else you'll be in the same situation and nothing will change.

not talking to him won't answer teh problem. tell him either help out or move out. you've been paying the rent without his help for the last 9 months right? why take care of him too?

Yes you are wrong, you must tell him to get out now, and do not mess around, this person is a moocher big time, look after you and your kids , kick the guy out today, you do not owe him any thing and its too late to start feeling sorry for the turd now

Look at the first 2 answers, stick to them and if everything fails kick his a... out the door. Its better for you and and your children to live without parasite.
