my son was born with a hernia in his belly button. his doctor did not tell me about it til he was 4 months old. his doctor keeps saying it will correct it's self but it has made no progress. any thing will help if any help possible.

My son was born with one, it eventually went away on its own, the doctor told me they normally do. It did not effect anything with him. It was gone by the time he turned one.
