My dad wont go look for a job he just lies on the couch all day watching tv. He wasnt even suppose to be living with me but a week turned into two- until four months went by. What do I do? He has nowhere else to go.

Put him in a 12 step program, if he doesn't do it , Open the door & put your boot on his rear-end, no parent should ever do this do their own child, the man needs help but most alchohlic's do not recongize this in their own life, they never admit to be an alchoholic, ask him to please get help. tell him he needs to find a job in 2 weeks or move out.
If he says he has no place to go, ask him where he would go if he didn't have you. Tell him you want him to help with rent and food, or you are going to rent to someone else that has a job. He does not have any respect for you or he would not do this to you. Right now you are enabling him to be this way. Set some boundries and limitations soon.

That is tuff, and there is no easy answer. I would help him find a place. If he is an alcoholic then he may need some serious tuff love. It will not be pleasant which ever road you choose. I wish you the best of luck.
