Well not really run away, but my parents hate each other and my mom gets mad about every little thing. I was thinking maybe I could go to Mexico. tell my parents to send me there. Just for like 6 months so I can gey away from them because I feel like If I stay here any longer I will get really sad and depressed and what not. What do you think about this?

My son is 8 years old with Autism and I have recently been given the opportunity to hire direct care staff to come in and work with him in all aspects of his life. The person will be taking care of all personal needs (toileting, bathing, dressing) transporting to therapy sessions, cooking and cleaning up after him. I will be home a lot of the time, but there will be alot of time when I will not be around (ie when I am at work and activities with my other child) so I have to find someone that I will be able to trust with a child who is mostly non-verbal. I have never had to hire people to watch him before, except the young lady who is currently working with him while I am at work. To those of you who have gone thru this before, what should I look for to find high quality people, I want to have low turn over so I want to do the best that I can to hire the right people the first time around.

Our Baby Sister is moving across the country and I bought her a locket and I'll put my family's pictures in it. Can anyone think of a not-too-cheesy quote using the word heart?

Here are some ideas I had but I'm not too sure about them:

"Always in our hearts"
"Home is where the heart is"

If I could incorporate God or Jesus too that would be even better...

Please help! Thanks!

Okay I'm 24 and have 2 little girls plus an adopted dr, a husband that works full time and a cat. I have one yr of college underneath my belt, do you put everything on the back burner and go through college and med school to become a dr to better benefit you and your children later. Or do you give up your dream and move on?

"Cotton Card Room Hand" - Refers to a room in a cotton mill where machines were installed that carder cotton fibres. Carding helps clean the cotton (removing dirt, bits of seeds and plant) and also starts to point the fibres in the same direction. This is necessary in order to spin cotton fibres into thread and then to weave the thread into cloth. A "Hand" refers to an assistant that helped maintain the machines and/or bring in more cotton. Hope thats of help, my source of information was from John Messner at the Museum Of Science And Industry (Manchester), he's the Curator there, his email address is: j.messner@msim.org.uk if you have any further queries on jobs from 1900's in Textile Industry. Good luck with your family search, keep in touch! (J.D.)

How does it happen that one day they are loving, talkative playful boys and then next they are moody, non-talking eating, sulking machines. I try to sympathise with what they are going through hormone wise, but sometimes I am at the end of my rope. Ages 14 and 15. Advice please as I am running out of hair dyes!

I've never really had a relationship with my mother. I've lived with my dad since I was 3 and never really saw my mother except for an occasional summer. Now, I am back living in my hometown and have tried to establish a relationship with her, but she continually dissapoints me. She only calls me or talks to me when there is something that she wants. She always takes my younger sister's side (who grew up with her). I sometimes think she forgets that I am her daughter too. I just recently got a very successful job that she had previously failed at after 3 days. And I haven't spoken to her in 3 months. I saw her at a fair and she ignored me, and now I think neither one of us wants to speak first. I don't know if it's worth it though. She's even moving to another state and hasn't told me yet; I found out through my grandmother. Should I just forget about her? It's been like this all my life. Should I stop trying to form a relationship that has never been there to begin with?
