I am not sure about cabins or campsites but you might want to check accomodations north of Chattanooga at the Port of the Nickajack River on I-24 West. There are many things to see and do around Chattanooga that should interest both of you. There's always Lookout Mountain and an INCLINE to ride up and down the side of the mountain. There's also Rock City and Ruby Falls (a cave deep inside the mountain). The new aquarium in Chattanooga is good for a day trip for any age. There are many sites to see that are historic also and the mountains are absolutely gorgeous! And the best thing of all is the TIME YOU WILL SPEND WITH YOUR CHILD!!!
