If someone called you a horrible name, Im talking the worst name to ever be called in your life, that took your heart right out of your chest and was run over two thousand times, when in rage, do you think they meant it? Since this did happen to me, do you think I should forgive them? Even though I said I'd never talk or forgive them for what they did to me. Also, this is a VERY close family member to me, who lives in the same house. I am just so hurt, everytime I close my eyes I see the whole thing happening again. I cant stop thinking about it. Why do people want to always hurt me? Sorry if this is long.

Many people, in my experience, look down upon, or see as distasteful, very large families. A large family consisting of say, a Father, Mother, and 7 kids. Is there something wrong with it? Or is it perfectly fine? What is your opinion on this matter?

For a family of four in the UK, and to cover food, clothes, petrol, birthday presents and cards, house maintenance and any little extras... pretty much everything except the mortgage and insurance. I have just had my allowance cut by £100 and I can't argue my case unless I have an idea of how much others get paid!

I have a grandma that gives me $20 secretly everytime she sees me. I know she means well, but I really feel bad taking it from her. Is there a polite way to discuss this with her?

I was told by the hr office at work that ulcers were not serious enough to be under fmla. They also said that plantar fasciatis was not covered. Is this true.
I've had people at work receive fmla for being light-headed, ear infections, family issues.

I know some of you are still fortunate enough to have your parents, but for those who don't. . .
How did you manage when it came time to 'sort and toss' the memories? Granted, this is not a new problem. My Dad has been dead 32 years, and my Mom 13. We're selling the homestead and cleaning out the attic. I'm feeling guilty throwing out all the things my Mom saved (like bowling trophies and all the sympathy cards from my Dad). Help me to rationalize it as I'm emotional right now. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

She's stomping around the house and distracting me, making me nervous, tense. She's 17, a mother, and I want a quiet moment, in my own home, without her. She never goes anywhere. She stomps and thumps and scowls at me. I'm tired of having to go out to the store or the YWCA or other places to get away from her. I want to have my own quiet home to myself sometimes. Without her and her baby's mess!
