EVery tme I have a party ( well the last 2 times) my loving but pushy mother pressures me to add 2-3 couples of her personal friends. The last event was a housewarming party I had. I am blessed to have an upscale home . I feel she wants to "show me off". I complied the last time. This event she wants to include her friends at is my daughters high school graduation. I don't want to be a stickler over 6 more people because I can AFFORD to have additional guests but its not the point. she trys to control the guest list with her friends. I am 42 and don't know what to do. am I being unreasonable?

I know this is an odd question and I'm not trying to be funny. A friend who I love was in an accident ten years ago that killed his two best friends. He was driving and under the influence. He was punished for his behavior and has become one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. However, he still grieves and it interupts his life severly. I know if he could talk to people who have been in his situation or can relate to his situation, it would help him feel less guilty and heart broken. I've Googled and Yahood and AltaVistad for support groups but I don't think there are any. If any one can help in any way, I would appreciate it. Mostly I would like to find someone who has been in his situation and can be his companion in recovery. (sidenote: He is already in therapy but I think this will help him as well.) Thank you so very much in advance.

I'm 27 years old and I've been living with my parents for 27 years. I'm a loner who doesn't talk much. Sometimes my mom is really annoying like chatting on the phone and I can't do my work, or she uses my computer and asked too many questions, or being too protective and doing everything like paying bills for me. I can't stand being close to her. I think I hate my dad too.

No offense intended. I grew up without my father being around, went to an all girls school, and have no brothers. And I feel that life is quite okay, without men. Why should I have a men in my life, apart from for sex and security? As far as security is concerned, I think men are the ones that make women safe AND unsafe. What do you think? My mum is my aunty her and her hubby adpot me five years ago.
Well when my parents slpit up my mum said it was my fault. This what happen when my mum went for a holiday for two weeks she let me use her mobile phone so when I use it i saw some message in her phone this man send her love things about her so I went and told my dad about it and he said he already knew about it that mum is having an affair with his friend people are talking about.

So mum was always talking behind my dad's back to me she say mean staff about him she say that my dad is not my dad is her husband that why she says staff about him to me.So I told him everything that se say about him but anyway dad forgave her she did before and again but when she wasn't honest about thier business she stole some money after dad found out about the affair and forgave dad told her to leave us alone with the my two brothers and sister.

I was invited to party in neighborhood......There was person I liked much and I wish to marry him,but he find another girl,and fall in love.He marry her and they have a little cute son...... I am 25 and my parents analyze everything I do. If I stay out past 8 pm, they are looking for me. If I buy a new type of food they question me. They tell me that the way I raise my kids is wrong. They are driving me crazy! We live in the same city. Should I move away? They are nice when they aren't controlling everything.

well i am so confused hope someone can help me. i moved and left my husband like 2 in 1 half months ago trying to find what i want in life. while i was married and with him i wanted to go to school and he said no i have no reason to go back. and i work all the time and he never did made it really hard for me. well i have a 6 month old little boy by another man. i just am so confused on life i dont understand nothing the more i try the more i get confused. My little sis died a while ago she was 9 with red hair and she had cancer. I'm really sad and i always think of her. I cant get over it. She was young and she didnt deserve to die. Can anyone tell me some way i can get over it

last sunday my grandma was in the hospital for a urinary track infection and a bad cold....she was getting better supposibly.well i get a call yesterday to come to her nursing home where i learned that she had a stroke and that she was dying and the family had hospice involved.no IV's, no food, no insulin for her diabetes, just pain meds to keep her comfortable.i was so mad how did no one know and why did my family decide this. so i walk in her room last night and she is unresponsive except for squeezing my hand when i kissed her and tlkd to her. i was tld she ad 10 days.well i got a call at 3am this morning and i go to her room and she is barely breathing and within an hour she died in front of me. i couldnt leave her in her room and i waited outside for the hearse to take her body out. then i went in her room and my brother and i grabbed her pillowcase and plants and i sat in her room.i am so sad.she raised me for 10 years and she is gone. i am mad at my family for giving up.what can

If we go for shopping we cant but buy new toys for him. After come back home he destroy it and start crying for a new one. If we do not go out for shopping, he try to make us convinced by crying to take him out to buy new toys. His favourite toys are insects, animals and car. If he see a new one he forgets the others he already has. Even the one he already has, wants a new of the same one. How to manage him? He is now 3 years and 8 months old.
