I'm 27 years old and I've been living with my parents for 27 years. I'm a loner who doesn't talk much. Sometimes my mom is really annoying like chatting on the phone and I can't do my work, or she uses my computer and asked too many questions, or being too protective and doing everything like paying bills for me. I can't stand being close to her. I think I hate my dad too.

At one time or another, parents are annoying - but then again - so are children.

You don't indicate why you are a loner, but I am concerned for you at age 27 that you seem just fine with being a loner and contuing to live in this existance...is it fulfilling for you?
Do you plan to live with your parents for the rest of their lives?

It sounds to me like your mother loves you - esp. when she is being overprotective - because if your mom didn't care, then she wouldn't be asking you too many questions, paying your bills, etc.

If you don't have any hobbies or things that you do outside your home, then you should try to develop outside interests - when your mother or even your father is driving you crazy, why not go to a movie, or simply get out of the house, get some breathing space and calm down?

People who are close are often known for pushing buttons and since you and your parents are so close, you may both be guilty of pushing each other's buttons.

But I don't think you hate your parents - they simply get on your nerves - and that is very common.

Hopefully you will work out ways where your parents don't get to you quite as much as they do now. Or maybe you are taking out your frustrations on them.

It is wrong to hate your parents. Had it not been for them, you wouldn't be here.

If you feel as if your privacy is being invaded, then get a place of your own. You're 27? I'd been on my own for 9 years by the time I was your age.

Get an apartment, pay your own bills. I'll bet you after a day, you'll be on the phone to your Mom asking advice, and missing her and your Dad.

You should be glad your parents let you live there. If it's that bad move your butt out! Parents only come once and if somthing ever happens to them then they won't be in your way anymore and you will be alone, be careful what you wish for! I will admit I can't live with my Mom but bet your a** we talk at least 3 times a day. Your 27 to move out is now your choice.

I think perhaps you are feeling suffocated by your parents..and you probably need to venture out on your own. Perhaps you can find a place to live..with a roommate to cover expenses.

Freedom from parents can cost us more, however, it is utterly priceless in the end. There is nothing like owning your OWN things, and spending your time EXACTLY as you wish.

Sounds to me like you're spoiled and immature. You still live with them and yet you expect them to cater to you? And apparently, they do. Why don't you move out, see how you like taking care of everything on your own for once? Maybe you'll appreciate how much your parents love you. I just hope you realize what a brat you're being before one of them dies and you end up with a lifetime of regret.

No dear! You are wrong...Parents are the blessing of God....Whenever I feel I dont want to talk to my parents, I just keep my mouth shut & go in the room....then think positive...try to cool myself...& come out after sometime as before...in a normal mood...
Try to change urself...Think if ur children do the same with u....what will u think then....????
Take care of urself.....& ur parents....
Thanks,
Sumiya.

If you feel that you hate them that much. Move out now before feelings are really hurt. I don't mean only yours. That would be selfish. Be good to yourselves you only have one mother and one father.
