If he has a hobby or a sport he enjoys playing, get him something that will allow him to pursue it even more.
Guys usually like high tech stuff, so next time watch carefully when he's browsing through a best buy catalogue, or just ask him what is it from the catalogue he likes, then shrug and walk away after he responds.

You don't necessarily need to BUY something. It's always nice to do something special for him. Make up a 'coupon book'. Include coupons for a free car wash (you will wash his car!) Cook him his favorite meal (assuming you are old enough to do this. If not, get help from an adult). Bake him his favorite cookies!

I think a nice new truck would be nice. If not then one of those portable combination power tools are pretty cool. But I would think a nice dinner out would be great even if it were in the form of a gift card.
