Especially for a dad who is difficult to buy for- no books or movies!

Well you didn't say that money was an issue and I don't know your age but alot of thought can go into this suggestion. My daughter did this years ago and her dad loved it.

Buy some nice index cards and make 'coupons' for your dad to redeem when he wants to use the coupon. For example:

This coupon entitles you to 1 free car wash.
This coupon entitles you to a free lawn cut.

This is just examples so you have to think of what your dad would really like done around the house and make coupons for this. If he usually takes out the garbage or walks the dog, stuff like that he would love some help with.

Make up the coupons and decorate them and put them in his fathers day card. I promise he will love it. He will know how much time you spent on the gift.

Hope this helps!!

My dad came over one day because I told him by yard was lookin' beautiful right now. He was really interested in my Foxglove flowers, asking what there were and going on and on about how pretty the were!
My dad likes to garden...so I'm getting him some so he can admire them in his own yard.....He'll say..."Well awe be.....
what A Hoot!"
I also make home-made cards. I draw a picture then make a stencil out of it then with different textures of paper, cut out many pieces of paper with an X-acto blade and make 3-D cards.
There a big hit with my presents! Just made a 12 inch white dragon for my BF for our 1 year anniv. card!...he loved it!

Another nice and thoughful gift if you're crafty...home-made gift certificates. Free car wash, free car vaccuming, free hanging out with dad in the garage, free sewing on of a button. Free mending of a sock! Free hugs because I love you dad (make a bunch of those)etc. Enjoy....I just might make one too!
Have a nice fathers day!
