Here's the situation - I have a friend I have a very big crush on. We're not actually tremendously close, but he does like me (and we talk a lot)- I just don't know how much. There's also another friend who likes him, and who spends more time with him, but this other friend is male, and the guy in question, while a bit bisexual, prefers women over men (I'm female).

The other issue is age - I'm not quite 21, and he just turned 31 (pretty much all of my friends are older - since I moved away from where I went to high school, I've been having difficulty making friends my own age). I also live with my parents (I'm a student). This is ...awkward. (The other guy is 28.)

Basically, my question is, is this worth pursuing, and if so, how should I go about it?

The guy I like likes me too. And for a while I've wanted to start talking to him, spark up interesting conversation. But, I think we have prolonged it for too long and now I'm thinking I should just give up on this crush. I really like him, and trust me he's not shy, but I guess when it comes to this he is. So I don't want to continue obsessing over him, but he's so great! Should I continue liking him?

but my friend says she's not afraid of suicide, and she got caught by the police for drinking underage, nothing happened though. I never see her anymore, cause she stopped going to church. The only way I talk to her is through e-mail. I'm not sure if she actually is considering suicide, but I'm not sure. She has changed so much in 1 month, and just don't know what to do? Do I tell someone or what?? I'm confused!

My fiance bought me the most beautiful engagement ring and I absolutely love it. I know he spent a good bit of money on it and I really like wearing it alone. Our wedding is in October and I was wondering if I can just keep that ring and use it as my wedding ring or do I have to purchase and additional ring to wear with the engagement ring as a wedding band? We do not have a lot of surplus income so I feel like it is a waste of money to buy another ring if I am happy with just one.

i have been with my partner for over four years. we have shared some fantastic times and also some very bad times. basically, theres this woman from his native country who he has emailed in the past (she is back in his country, he is in england). this was about three years ago when i found out he was emailing her, sending her photos, she was also sending photos to him. at first, because i didnt understand the language, he was able to lie to me and tell me this woman was family and he wasnt attracted to her at all. then i found a lot of photos and letters she had sent to him by post that he had kept. I was in such a state that i slit my wrists, but my partner found me in time and i was ok. He ripped up all the photos and put in the bin, blocked this girls id and changed his email address. then a year later i found out he had set up a new email i knew nothing about and was continuing to email her. he apologised to me and said he had been very stupid, that it was just a game to him.....

So I have a friend and we both live on opposite sides of the US ( east coast, west coast) and we got into an arguement over something stupid...he told me i always act like i know everything even when i dont know whats going on...so the next day someone said the same thing to me, so i called the other friend i had got into the first arguement with and said sorry...well to his answer machine and through text messages, and i called him today and yesterday, asking him not to be mad at me, and he hasnt returned any of my calls, what should i do??? just leave him alone all together or what?? because if i give him time i know for a fact that he wont call me...what should i do?

Romantic relationships at work are against policy. I can't give all the details but it is a messed up situation. We love each other and are really serious about staying together but we have to tell our boss before he finds out from someone else. When he finds out we will probably be apart for a few months but we are willing to wait for each other. I know we need to tell him so I think Im just looking for an encouraging word or two!!!

My boyfriend and I just started going out last week. We are both really close. Me and him were having a serious conversation when I brought up that he thinks hiis dad may be abusing him. He toled me his dad leans him over his desk every night and uses the cane really hard on him. He was like " I don't cry, I've gotten used to the pain." He said that his dad will make up excuses to hit him but will never touch his younger brother of 14. He toled me not to tell, I refused but he begged. I don't know what to do, he hides it, no one will ever find out. We are both 16 and from the UK. Oh, and I found a video on youtube. I've never been spanked so I don't know what he's going through. I searched corporal punishment on youtube and found a video that looks a lot like what he was describing. My boyfriend just broke up with me. Distance between us has led to alot of stress and temptation for him. He has become weak and has developed feelings for another girl and as I began to see us crumble I became more outgoing myself and have also met a guy. He (my exbofriend) has really changed almost to the point where its alarmming. We obviously both still have very strong feelings for one another and are kind of in the air. So this girl (hes into) is going out of town this weekend and so is his family except for grandpa so hes there by himself taking care of grandpa. In the beginning of January my grandma got lost and was missing for 4 days in the snow all because I had her cell phone, she didn't no I had it but I only had it because I was talking to my boyfriend behind everyone’s back because my family is racist and my boyfriend is Mexican....she is ok but how was I supposed to no she was going to be hurt, my mom walked out on me when I was 15 she ran from the cops, I’m 17 now and my uncle thinks he owns me even though no one has legal custody of me or my 15 year old brother, anyways they found out I had the phone and kicked me out they said I tried to kill my own grandma then my mom out of no where said I had to move in with her which if I did I wouldn't be in a safe place because she's on drugs so I ran-a-way with my boyfriend of 5 years no one ever reported me a run-a-way I think I had every right to leave and now my mom got a hold of my boyfriends father and said she don't care where I am she just wants to give me my birth certificate.....

I went over to this kid's house who I really like but I had never really talked to before. He invited me over to hang out.

We started kissing and making out and he asks me to have sex with him. I'm not a virgin but I don't just have sex with people I've never even talked with before. I used to but I realized that it wasn't getting me anywhere.He told me "it will be fun" and I said "yeah maybe if I knew you better."

He then gets up, throws his clothes on and storms out of the room, and then goes to our other mutual friend and says "******* take her home!" ( because i didn't have my car with me)
