I do understand your problem. My daughter has a 3 year old and a 9 month old. She takes the children out almost daily to visit someone or takes them to a park when the weather permits. She recently got a job at a hospital and works 3 12 hour shifts. Have you tried getting out and taking the kids for a walk in your neighborhood? This is a good way to meet other people. Good luck.

More and more people say that they have no friends. The world as a whole is just too unconnected these days. .
If your kids are in school...
Can you join a gym and make a point to go every day - or three days a week - you may meet other mothers.
A bible study group is a good way to meet new people, if you are into that.
Get a part time job perhaps.

You can either do one of three things.
1.join a group in your community
2.start a group, {on-line} for stay at home mums
& 3 get more involved in childs activities and meet other school kid's mother's that stay at home.
And as always we are always here on YA.

join a group for mums, chk out the local community halls, or schools, some have coffee mornings or parent and toddler groups, you need to get out and about, share your feelings and day to day topics, eventually you will make new friends, or you could start up a group yourself.

You can start out by taking your kids to the park. There are alot of parents/moms in that setting. That's a great place to start.
