but my friend says she's not afraid of suicide, and she got caught by the police for drinking underage, nothing happened though. I never see her anymore, cause she stopped going to church. The only way I talk to her is through e-mail. I'm not sure if she actually is considering suicide, but I'm not sure. She has changed so much in 1 month, and just don't know what to do? Do I tell someone or what?? I'm confused!

Ask her directly if she is considering suicide! Don't be afraid, she might confide in you. If she isn't then great, tell you you're relieved. If she is considering suicide, tell you know know of a good bridge to jump off...ha ha ha..not really! You can, however, either meet her and help or you can notify the suicide prevention hotline!!!

Just be there for her. I had a friend that committed suicide and the warning signs were there. Dont be afraid to help her. People who are at risk usually shut themselves off because they know someone will try to help. Please...speak to someone who will help her...her parents or an older sibling or even you guidance counselor. Its very possible to save someone from suicide. But you have to be strong for them..suicide is a direct result of a real illness. Good luck and hope everything is ok.

so how old is your friend? Does she have a plan for suicide, if so find out what the plan is and if she has taken steps to follow through. If she has, ask her directly if she is planning suicide. What ever you do don't avoid the issue or think it will go away. Tell her to get counseling or talk to a helpline, there are a lot of resources out there for prevention of suicide. Goodluck.

Try convincing her to get a little help, or maybe give her something to care for that will give a reason to live.
