Yeah but why would you? Too young to be getting married or engaged for that matter.

Sure you can! It isn't a good idea....but you can. IF you get engaged at 18 and married a year or two later it is pretty well a given that you will be divorced...or at least unhappy.....buy the time you are 25. At the age of 18 very few are mature enough to enter into a relationship, such as marriage, which is normally considered to be 'for life'.

Just please don't get pregnant. You're too young to get married but if you mess up your life you're only doing it to yourself. You're WAY too young to have the responsibility of a child and I, as a taxpayer, refuse to pay for another stupid girl who gets pregnant and ends up on welfare. Why should I pay for your mistakes?! Besides, if you truly were an adult and a good parent you put the best interests of the child first. Even the birds of the air know to make the nest BEFORE you lay the eggs!
This is how it's done: first you get the good education, then a good-paying job, then property, then marriage and then and only after all the other criteria have been met do you even begin to think about having a family. To do it in any other order is to shortchange the children.
Don't get married until you are older and for heaven's sake don't start cranking out kids. Try not to do all the same usual stupid things that all the other poverty-stricken slobs do. Be better than that.

You can get engaged at whatever age you want, the real question is can you get married at 18 which is YES. You're 18, that means you are legal, free to do whatever you want (when it comes to engagments and marriage)

You can get engaged at any age you want. You can legally get married at 18 years old. Dont let anyone tell you your too young or wait. If your in love, and you feel its right. Do it. Just cause your engaged doesnt mean your getting married tomorrow. You decide. Age doesnt matter. If your 18 or 80. If you love them and they love you. Follow your heart.

Absolutely! You might have to be 21 to drink, but you can be 18 to sign a marriage license. I did it at 18 and I'm still married 10 years later. Have fun.. everyone has to do it at least once in their life.. LOL

You can, but i think you should ask yourself if you should. If you're asking a bunch of strangers for an opinion, you know you're doubting getting married to whomever you are getting married to. Cold feet I see and your being 18 is an excuse?
