My mum comes up to me and says do you like my new watch? Your sister bought it for me for mother's day - look it's a Bob Marley watch. Looking at confused I reply no mum it is an Armani watch.

Another of her funny comments is:

Ow ow.... i've got clamp. She had cramp in her foot.

Anyone else got parents who just come out with the stupidist of things??

I know a 22 year old girl that is moving in with her boyfriend who has cheated on her and is mentally abusive. She is always telling me that she hates relationships and doubting that the move in will be permanent. Then why is she moving in with the guy. Why is she always telling me about it?Maybe because all of her friends are moving in with their boyfriends? She always tells me that if she didnt have a boyfriend she would date me. I just dont understand this girl's logic.

I am having a baby in a few months. My lease is up in June, just after baby is due. Would you move if things were so noisy that you could hear the neighbors alarm clock? I will have a baby waking up at night, and they will hear it for sure. The people upstairs right now are moving out, they are fed up. This place was not oringally built for 2 suites. I can hear their wash machine and everystep they walk upstairs. When I turn my heat on, they are sweating... should I just move? Don't want stress with new baby. Or should I wait and see what new neighbors are like? Money is an issue...

My husband and I have been married for almost 2 yrs now. No kids.We got married when we were both 21. He has a very difficult time w/ communication!! When it comes to really serious conversations,fights or just me trying to talk to him about how I feel and wanting advice or support...- He barely talks! He keeps telling me that he's never been good at talkin like this, and he keeps saying he'll get better. But..it's been this long and its not!! It drives me crazy, it hurts too.
On top of that, he works a job where he's gone a lot through out the year, leaving me alone a lot. So some of our marriage is just over the phone, and being lonely.
Last but not least, there's this guy I work with..we figured out we have strong feelings for eachother...
I love my husband and all, but lets face it, without communication there is no marriage - right..
I'm very confused right now, on what to do w/ everything. Should I keep waiting around for it to change. Or 4get it N move on?! Please help

Will try and keep this short. Childhood bullied by father, abused by uncle for 7 years. At 16 thought id found the perfect guy, we stayed together for 16 years. He had an affair after 16 years of being faithful. Have had ME for 10 years (mild and is under control). Class myself as a survivor not a victim. Problem is im too inderpendant and with 2 children find it hard to find a new man. Lack of trust i think. Had dates always make a mess of it. They either want total phone calls, emails, dates and i just carnt do it all the time being a single parent. Id like someone in my life, but why do guys want to rush everything?

This guy im dating has a friend who i hate. The guy im dating is best friends with him, he always talks about what good friends they are and they live next door to each other. I tried being friendly to his friend and he was cold to me.. Another time the guy im dating invited me to a party he was having, i coudlnt find him so i saw the friend and asked him where he is, his friend gave me a nasty look and said oh hes busy now..like smirking at me... I finally did find him and he was happy i did and we spent the whole night together and his friend seemed upset and stayed away.
I didnt mention anything to the guy im dating because i didnt want to upset him but should I?
Why does his friend hate me?

I've been hanging out with my friend's best friend for a few months and when she broke it off with her long distance relationship (someone that wouldn't call her his girlfriend and literally lives 1000 miles away) we started dating. When her "ex" got wind of us spending break break together he calls her up and says "I love you and I can change" and makes all the promises she ever wanted to hear. That's all it took.

I've spent just as much time with her as all their months of "dating" and I fell hard for every little detail and imperfection she had. To be perfect for her I just had to be myself, and now she's gone.

Now I've seen my sister go through the same thing before, relationship hits a snag someone says "I love you" and misery begins. My sister married into this and I'm scared she might do whatever it takes to justify his failings because she isn't there to know if he's telling the truth.

Did i just fall to hard to fast for my own good, or should I fight for her?

Me and my husband havent even been married a year now, and already we have lost our spark. All he wants to do is be by himself. He is in the military so i understand he is stressed alot, but its like he doesnt try to work on our relationship at all. Im only 20, and he makes me feel like im just something in his life. I try to talk to him, and he always just says "stop complaining". I dunno, i love him so much, i am always trying to make him understand how i feel but i've run out of ideas. I just want to be romanced, i know that sounds like a bad girl cliche but its true. I dont want his every move to be about me but i want to just feel something. Please give me some advice, but please dont tell me im too young because ive heard that all before. Im looking for relationship advice not an age reminder.

me and my girlfriend are on a break till next weekend because we argue a lot. Apparently im to controlling cos i get annoyed when she goes out on a friday and saturday, and doesnt invite me out. then we she has nothing planned im expected to just go round there. So she is also controlling and when she doesnt get her own way she has a hissy fit and threatens to end it with me and then i always back down. today i found out my bestfriend is mad at me. she says im choosing the guy im dating over her. which i never tried to do. she says that she wants me to think about it. dont just choose her because she`s my bestfriend but yeah. bestfriend of 2 years? or the guy im dating for like 2 months ? what do i do? .. if you choose your BFF over the the guy your dating does it mean it`s over and done with? or it`s just like i cant hang out with him as much thing. like i need to find time for my bestfriend before the guy? 'cause if he doesnt understand that im choosing my bestfriend over him .. it should be over right? `cause i know he`ll choose his boys over me. i dont want to cause any more problems between us cause my bestfriend will be moving this summer to another ..state. it`s always GIRLS BEFORE GUYS. and oh yeah if your dating a guy doesnt mean you have to see him every single day right? i just need to limit my time and such. does anyone have any advice..?please help. i already apologized.
