how do i get a good friend?

i moved and have been in this small city for 9 months.
its a big difference from cities like dallas/ft.worth and houston
i left all my good friends back there
and life is a drag over here
i got some friends but nothing goes farther than meeting each other at school (high school)
all of these guys have known each other since elementary

Right now I'm unemployed and I take care of most all of the household chores and such (cleaning, cooking, ect). But I'm about to start a full time job, and I know I will need some help. I've tried to talk to her, but she just doesnt seem that into helping.

I've been having lots of little problems with my boyfriend. they seem like nothing but they all add up to something. he lives in the US and I live in the UK, he calls me at 4am to talk, most of the time I talk to him for an hour or two then, but lately I've been tired, so I say i wanna sleep (I have only said this 3 times). now he says he's going to stop calling at night at all, even at normal times because there is no point. he didn't call or answer his phone yesturday, and today he is being funny with me. what should i do? i know it's his problem, but still i want things to be nice

with this guy. We're hanging out tonight. We've slept together a few times. I love him like a brother-I know, gross but whatever. He's very brilliant, and sees things about me I could never. We're gonna drink, go out, play pool, hang here and pass out watching Borat. I've known him for about 3 years, and I'm the reason he broke up with this AWFUL girlfriend he had. He's all about being serious, and I'm little miss player. We usually end up fooling around after drinking. I just broke up with my long-term boy, already hooked up with this HOT piece of ***, and am interested in another dude. Very complicated, I know. Oh, and we're both best friends with the same guy, who I've also been with physically. LOL if you can answer this, I will give you the highest of commendations!

I like this guy who goes to my school. We don't know each other at all but I know that he can recognize me in a crowd full of people. Right now I'm just happy he notices me at least. We see each other in the hallways and sometimes after school on the way to my bus. my boyfriend was very close to his ex girlfriend. they had a 4 yr relationship but then she left him to marry another guy bcoz that time my bf wasnt settled and she was afraid her parents wud reject him. It took him almost 2 yrs to get over her.

Okay, well...i was dumped Thursday the 22nd by my girlfriend, or now ex. She said the reason being we moved too fast into the relationship. We talked a week and a half after she got out of a 2 year relationship and then after that week and a half, i asked her out. She said yes. It's been 3 months. All of the time I would tell her how happy i was being with her and she would say the same thing how happy she was. Another reason she said is she lost interest in me a few weeks ago. It wasnt even two weeks ago she said she was so glad she's with me. Now I'm confused. I dont know if I should continue on or try getting back with her. She said she's sorry and doesnt feel the same way. But is there a way to change that also??? If you can, help me perhaps.

some girls may fall in love quick one reason is because the guy may say a lot of things the girl may fall for but yeah thats just some guys not all of them are like that i am just saying that a lot are and a lot aren't so some girls may fall for shitty lines or whatever but thats who they are and they really need to start just liking a guy...instead of love just a STRONG LIKE..um same way with guys too they can fall in love too it's just that they just need to start off with a strong like 'cause love isn't a joke saying i love u is foreal really it is and when u say it the person really belives it and..when u live and be like whatever they person ends up hurt...cuz of what u did..

Mu husband and I married a long time with no kids (not by choice) has decided to take on my sisters 7 year child who would have been thrown in foster care had we not. This child has gone through a lot and it has taken and is currently still taking lots of time, and a lot of love to change this childs ways. She is a huge smart a s s and happens to be very manipulative like her mother, we knew this taking her in. I understand this child has gone through alot in the past but I do not allow her to play off of it and act nasty, and rude to others because of it. She is use to being able to act like an adult so she speaks in very adult like ways and it can be very embarassing. It sounds like I am being mean but I am explaining what we go through on a daily basis. H
ere's the problem my husband and I have been working with her showing her we love her giving her lots of attention, and teaching her to act like a child. She is use to getting her way but we don't allow her to act out

I wouldn't say my love life is great...but i wouldn't say it sucks either. I always notice some cute guy...but am always WAY too shy to say anything. But when you dont have anything, and everyone around you does...what do you do. I'm not going to rush into anything with someone. I want everything to be good..but at the same time I need someone who wants to be with me. Being lonely sucks sometimes!
