You try your best to stay neutral and feel free to tell them you are doing so. Tell them exactly how you are feeling.

First of all you need to explain that there are only two grounds for divorce, one is adultery and the other is abandonment and desertion.second you should tell them to grow up and work on what made them fall in love and get married in the first place instead of looking for excuses to divorce.Divorce hurts everyone not just them.

You need to realize that the problems they are going through have nothing to do with you. This is entirely about them and how they relate to each other. You HAVE to extract yourself from being in the middle of it. Let them handle their own arguments and issues. Don't fall for "tell him I said" or "tell her I said", let them speak for themselves. And tell them both that you don't want to hear from either of them about "how bad" the other one is. If either of them starts that, just leave the room. Tell them you want OUT of the middle, and don't let them put you there.

Tell them that you refuse to be the go between or the referee between them. Tell them that you refuse to negotiate or communicate between them. Tell them that you are not their counselor and that you refuse to be a pawn that they use to hurt one another. Tell them that you are a precious person that deserves happiness and you do not deserve to get the fallout from their relationship falling apart. Feel free to use these exact words to them.

Tell them that you love both of them but that you refuse to be responsible for either of their feelings and happiness. Wish them well in their attempts to create some workable communication between them and then step aside and mean it.

Find your own happiness and interests in life and pursue them. Let the two of them fight their battles or find their way to mutual peace.

Good luck.
