I have a weird relationship...?

with this guy. We're hanging out tonight. We've slept together a few times. I love him like a brother-I know, gross but whatever. He's very brilliant, and sees things about me I could never. We're gonna drink, go out, play pool, hang here and pass out watching Borat. I've known him for about 3 years, and I'm the reason he broke up with this AWFUL girlfriend he had. He's all about being serious, and I'm little miss player. We usually end up fooling around after drinking. I just broke up with my long-term boy, already hooked up with this HOT piece of ***, and am interested in another dude. Very complicated, I know. Oh, and we're both best friends with the same guy, who I've also been with physically. LOL if you can answer this, I will give you the highest of commendations!

Basically, what are we, and what should I do?

actually i just went through this situation almost to a tee, cept about the whole u messed around with ur other bestfriend..anyways. we talked about it one night into the late hours and finally came to the decision that we would clear things up, take a break for about a week or two, and then start hanging out. While we were on this break we thought about whether we really want to be with each other and think about other people we also care about. It seems like this guy of yours is great, mine was too, i thought he was my dream guy. But maybe your bestfriends should just stay bestfriends, or atleast thats what we ended up doing. yes it is hard sometimes to keep each others hands off of each other at times, but we know it'd be less confusing and less hurting if we stayed just friends, cause while we were f**k buddies, he'd look at other girls and it'd hurt,and vise versa. So take the break thing and really think about it.

You guys must be two entirely different people that somehow have found some simmilarities between you. I have to say, you should dump this guy ur with right now. If you are really interested in other people, you should be able to respect him enough to leave.

Its hard though, since you are the reason he broke up with his cruddy old girlfriend. But when you boil it all down: leave the guy your currently hangin with-relationships shouldn't be all about fooling around.
