Right now I'm unemployed and I take care of most all of the household chores and such (cleaning, cooking, ect). But I'm about to start a full time job, and I know I will need some help. I've tried to talk to her, but she just doesnt seem that into helping.

I would sit down and come up with a plan for division of household chores. (I am going to assume that she is working f/t.) So tell her that now that you are going to be working f/t too, you should make a schedule so the household can still run smoothly and you guys will have more quality time to spend together in your off-hours.

Honestly, if she still seems disinterested in doing her share, I would be having a fit.

Well as long as yer not employeed.. no sence screaming about it yet... keep doing what yer doing.. when you become employeed.. things change... and just do your half... It will likely sort itself out eventually once she gets tired of a stack of laundry in the middle of the living room floor LOL.. Oh yeah there will be some arguments.. face it.. shes gotten used to having a housewife.. can ya blame her?

A lot of times things one spouse does for the other goes unnoticed and the best way for her to realize how much you're actually doing is to just stop doing it. If you're going to clean, clean up only after yourself. If you're going to cook, only cook for yourself. Hopefully she'll soon realize that she needs to pull her share of the weight.
