This guy im dating has a friend who i hate. The guy im dating is best friends with him, he always talks about what good friends they are and they live next door to each other. I tried being friendly to his friend and he was cold to me.. Another time the guy im dating invited me to a party he was having, i coudlnt find him so i saw the friend and asked him where he is, his friend gave me a nasty look and said oh hes busy now..like smirking at me... I finally did find him and he was happy i did and we spent the whole night together and his friend seemed upset and stayed away.
I didnt mention anything to the guy im dating because i didnt want to upset him but should I?
Why does his friend hate me?

it could be many reasons or he cant just be an ***. he can be jealous of him, maybe he likes you, maybe he doesn't like you because you take his time and attention away from the guy your dating. honestly who cares what his friend thinks, as long as the man you are dating doesn't care. i wouldnt mention anything not unless this guy really does something major. leave it alone for now. you are with this guy and if u like him, dont worry about others around him.

Anyway I really suggest to mention this to your guy, his best friend might be his best man during the wedding you know haha..... If you don't say he won't know and tension will build
Don't fret about him getting upset, because if he really loves/likes you he won't get upset or angry
Try to find out why his friend doesn't like you seriously , I don't think its your fault since you tried to be nice....And I hope you guys can work out a solution (probably sort it out face to face)

try to talk to his friend first. ask him if there is a problem between the two of you and why. if he wont even talk to you about it or gives you a nasty remark, then its probably time to tell ur bf, but say it kindly and just ask him to talk to his friend about what you may be doing to annoy him. his friend is probably upset and he feels like you are replacing him.

His friend is probably jealous. Ur bf probably doesn't like some of ur friends, so don't make him choose b/t his friends and u. If u really like ur bf, then u should b able 2 put up w/ his friend. Talk 2 the friend about it when ur bf isn't around and ask him y he doesn't like u.

There are a couple of guys my bf hangs out w/ that i dont like. You should mention something to your bf about how you feel (keep it short). Also comment about how much you like some of his other friends so he knows your not trying get rid of all his friends.

The guy you are dating friend is feeling left out so he is trying to ruin your relationship. I think you need to make your boyfriend aware of situation so he can tell his friend to calm down and show you some respect.
