hi this is the first time i post a question hope i can get better answers i know its a petty question but im confused..he called yesterday and it was his birthday he told me that he misses me badly. we broke 1 yr ago without discvussing the reeal issue between us and then i found out a month later we broke out the he fell inlove to his officemate but they are no longer together when he admitted.

you do that by being cautious and paying attention to everything. even thou he says all the right words, you should not immediately fall for them. you have to make sure that you 'really' want to get back with him. sometimes one year is short of time to figure if you are over your ex, or if you love him still, or if you are just hooked on what you once had.
in a year i'm sure you have changed. is this the type of person you could see yourself with? you know, someone who breaks up with their mate to be with someone else?
don't allow the feelings of the past, and the good times that you had be what influence you.
don't allow him to rush you into anything you are not ready to deal with.
don't you rush into anything either.
start out as friends. you have to get trust back. if he is willing to goo at your pace, then there may be something here.

sounds to me like he wants you as a rebound.
ask yourself:
why do I want to be with someone that left me one time before without ever talking to me about things?
dont be confused and dont fall for it. dont be the rebound gf when he is alone and wants someone. be yourself and always follow your heart.

I'm not sure, that's tough. He might just be using you because he feels lonely.. But do what your heart is telling you, because I might be wrong!
