This is my Fiancees' first marriage and my Second one, but my parents never paid for the first wedding, so does this still fall on there shoulders? I have thought about paying out of "my" own pocket for the wedding but I keep wondering who really is the person responsiable? Either way it goes I don't plan on a large wedding, but I want it to be beautiful since my first one was a horable mess and this is my fiancees' first ( hopefully last) time at the alter!

i am a mother of three that recently ran into some trouble with "THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES" after a disgruntled neighbor called them on me. I have been a frequent pot smoker for years but have not had to worry about it till now. I do not want to lose my children over smoking pot. please help me find a way to pass my hair test so that i can go back to my life with my children. this is so important to me that i am willing to quit for the secirity of my children. thank you

I have a 5 yr. old and his father has been coming in and out of his life, we divorced when my son was 3 months old and I made all he effort for them to see each other for a while then he decided to move to NY my son was 2 1/2-3 hed call may b once every 6 months to talk to me & then ask about his son & didn't send me any money for child support. He returned to the area last March & took him for one day to his dad's house there are 2 other kids my son's age that live there & he had fun playing with them but didn't really spend much time with his father, since then he has not seen him. Today I called him for $ suddenly he remember his child now he's asking if he can have my son spend the night on Sat. and I told him he should 1st spend some time w/him since he's not so used to him. I used 2 talk 2 my son about his "dad" but stopped I don't want him to get excited over someone who doesn't bother to spend time with him, I've seen it b4, my son rememberes him as some guy now... & I feel :(

to take our son to Georgia, we are in NJ, for spring break on a visit to her fiance's family.It is not in our parenting plan that she can go for this long and I don't think it is good that he once again is subjected to a trip like this when he doesn't like the guy, is subjected to a moral standard I am against and he did not grow up with. What would you do?

Just wondering what you think of Chinese interracial relationships. I am Chinese, but born in North America. However, I always seem to fall for a girl that is not Chinese. Either Caucasian, african, indian, filipino, Hispanic.

I know it is getting more common for chinese women to date outside their race, but what about Chinese men?

I have been seeing this new guy for about two months now but we knew each other for a while before we started dating. I am falling in love with him and falling hard! Great right, well it should be. There is nothing wrong with him, it is me and my own screwed up mind. I have been burned very, very badly in the past and I don't think he would ever do the same things to me. But the thought of falling in love again scares me to death. It is almost like I am guarding my heart.

How do I get over feeling like this?

I trust him 100% and I am not a crazy, jealous or controling person in the least. I know he would never intentionally hurt me but I can't shake this want to guard myself.

Is this normal? Please help me to get over this so I can move forward with this wonderful man.

Today while I was cleaning out the closet I found a box and started going through it and to my surprise it was pictures of my current boyfriends ex girlfriends. Some even in picture frames. It kinda got me upset that he still had pictures of his ex's and even more upset when I found the ones in the frames.

So my question is he still not over them. I have some pictures of my ex's also but their not in picture frames and also I would throw them out if I ever got married. Should I tell him to throw them out if we do get married someday or just ignore them?

Specifically, when it comes to putting down the parents for my fiancé. His mom and dad split when he was six and both remarried, and he lived with his mom and stepdad. When he was ten his mom died, so he went to live with his dad and stepmom, but they sent him to his grandma Jeans' to live. He considers his grandma the closest thing to a mom besides Peggy(his mom). ok here is the thing-can i put Ricky(his dad) and Peggy, or not? what should i put? i have no clue.

Had my date tuesday..and it went fine..so I think...I asked her, and straight to the point..does she want to see me again...(text)

she replied on a text..

From my understanding and just talking to her..I believe that she had been hurt in the past...and probably not ready to give her emotions. plus as well, in a past text " little bit fragile".I havent contact her since wednesday ( text )..And of course I dont want to scare her, and don't want to smother her.

my reply " Me too, hey thats fine..have a good week and I will contact you soon " x

When is a week..until sunday?..wanna text her monday is that too long?..shall I send flowers?...help..I really do like her.

so i am getting married in oct. and i started planning in december. my sister got engaged right as i started planning mine. every time i got out with my mom she comes wih and i am sick of her talking about her wedding!! i picked my wedding spot and she is now doing the same thing. i choose to get married on a yatch and now she is too but bigger and better. i was going to go dress shopping with my mom and i wanted her to go with me to help and she asked if i minded her trying dresses on too!!! what do i do?? i am sooooo frustrated.

my twin brother left for the army when we were 18 , he has been gone for 4 yrs and recently got deployed to iraq. growing up we were always always together, same friends, same interests. since he came home for a visit he hasn't been the same at all, i think the war messed him up :( how do i deal with him not being the same??

my friend is getting married with this girl he kidnapped(tradition in mexico, kidnap girl and get married) shes says shes in love. everyone including me thinks this wrong but they're parents approve and are marrying in september.

My sister and her best friend have a very close relationship for almost twenty years. The email or message each other every day and phone each other for extended conversations every week. They'd like to go for a short vacation trip together. (Both of them are straight.)
The problem is, that the best friend's husband get jealous fits, whenever the two them converse. And really hates the idea of them travelling together.
My family pressures my sister to back of and limit her contact with her best friend in order to keep that marriage going. I think, my sister and her friend have every right to stay in close contact and travel together and the husband is behaving overly jealous.
Am I way off in my opinion? Are bests friends commonly a problem in marriages?
