I would go to the box in the back of my cupboard, the burgundy one up there at the back, then hand it to him.
Then I would ask him if her preferred the silken rope or the leather cuffs?
Would he like to try the blindfold?
And then, he would understand why that crop and whip hang on my wall. Not for decoration, certainly?

there is a beautiful art form of japanese rope tying bondage called Shibari.I would study it and find something I feel my lover would be comfortable with something that is within their boundary of trust.I would also use rope that is gentle not the kind that is abbrassive unless of course thats what my lover wanted.
I would also revel in the fact that my lover trusted me so much to have asked me to do something like this.So I would start by asking questions so that I KNEW what the boundaries of this experiment were.

I wouldn' want to tie those up or those either for that matter. What "them" are you talking about putting the ropes to?

A square knot would work good or a slip knot. Tie her to all four corners of the bed and enjoy.

Most likely they are feeling that your love life has gotten stale. Time to spice it up any way possible that you can think of. Or maybe they have finally gotten comfortable with you and now they are wanting to play out fantasies.
