It depends on what state they are getting married in—yes it is entirely possible that it is legal for her to get married at age 15, especially if she has her parent's consent. If as you say the parents approve and they are already planning to have a marriage in September, I would assume that parents are more aware of the legality of the situation than you are.

As to my opinion, I think that you should mind your own business. It's not up to to judge or control other people's lives, and I'm fairly sure you have not been appointed her legal guardian. So stay out of it, or preferably, be supportive and happy for your friend.

I got married at 17 as long as you have your parents consent it is 100 % legal.. In mexico it is different but they say you can get married as early as 14

As long as the child has parental consent this is not against the law...and in some states say like Kentucky, one can get married at a younger age w/o consent anyway.

Illegal? in the US, probably. Stupid???? most assuredly . To have kids? about the biggest mistake they could make.... what/who you like at 15 ain't who you're going to like at 25, and that could be 10 years, and 8 kids later. Had a Mexican young man work for me years ago... he was one of 13 children. Two of those had been murdered, several had married men who kept them pregnant, and beat them, cheated on them (common in Mexican culture) and the Mom??? at 55 she looked 82.
